I still enjoy free republic but some of the people here have forgotten to be nice.
I make pointed comments and am not shy about criticizing Trump when he deserves it which is very often but I don’t think I’m as nasty to others here as they have been to me.
But I’m hanging in. I think Ted Cruz will prevail and I think that if he does we can beat Hillary.

No real conservative would ever knowingly subvert the original intent of the Constitution... What a service Cruz is performing... outing the fake conservatives.
Many people just stop participating, and that increases the impression that FR is nothing but a p___g contest, usually between two people, which just ruins the thread. It’s a problem that causes itself to get worse, like many other problems.

Have any of you trumpers stopped to look at all the people you’ve alienated? And who you’ve thrown under the bus for their honest opinions which differ from yours.
First of all, you’ve alienated a lot of fellow freepers. Someone posts an article about Trump’s strange position on abortion which he changes the next day ... and all the responses vary from insulting the poster to insulting Ted Cruz.
Very few little trumpers address the issue of the odd things Trump is saying (and then un-saying) about abortion.
Why? Because they can’t.
But they can’t be quiet either. They have to attack the poster and attack Cruz.
And you’ve thrown former loved radio conservatives under the old bus and yesterday, poor old Ann Coulter is clinging to the underside of the bus.
It’s not a recipe for making friends.
