In truth, there are several million Americans who cannot eat the gluten found in wheat, rye, and barley without doing substantial damage to their health. Although Whole Foods carries some gluten free bread and pastry products, most of their baked goods are conventional and contain gluten.

We get all our vitamins there every year at 25% off. Otherwise, it’s like walking into a freak show

Whole Foods is a guilty pleasure of mine. I would never do my regular shopping there but I do drop in when I'm in the mood to pick up something nice for dinner that we can cook at home. Last week I got wild caught Alaskan sockeye salmon for about $15 a pound. Quite expensive but still cheaper than getting the same dish in a restaurant (and not knowing how it is prepared).
Whole Foods does maintain pretty high standards for freshness and quality so I'll give them that.

When Amy Coney Barrett was being considered for SCOTUS, one day the press was congregating around her house when she arrived home. The minute I saw her unloading Whole Food bags from her car, they translated to red flags for me.
