No, the vote flipping machines have the advantage.
Election can be decided on small things like coughing fits on stage in a debate. Fainting spells behind stage. Not showing to speak because you are tired. Husband doing what he does best again. World events keep blowing up. Markell won’t change and the German people will get screwed.
RS- just thought you might want to see this, and your thoughts.
Northeastern state. Socially liberal, economically libertarian. Sanders crushed Hillary in the primary. Based on yard signs almost no ground support for Hillary, massive support for Trump.
Advantage: Trump.
Author doesn’t even consider that Trump might win some states of the big industrial northern states like New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan. I think Trump could very well take those.
Correct! If nothing else, Trump puts those states back in play.
Trump can win narrowly by flipping Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
If he does the "impossible" and wins New Jersey and New York he only needs to flip five other swing states: Indiana, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire and North Carolina
Pennsylvania is ripe for a pro-working class Republican. Trump will win there easily.
See my #25.
Trump is a native of Queens, his Dad built his construction business in Queens and Brooklyn and his background is regular New Yorker who made his way up through construction that will appeal to the construction workers and regular people who will not vote for the carpet bagger Hillary from Arkansas. Trump will win in Long Island and Westchester, no doubt!
Trump is pro fracking and will definitely win upstate in the Mohawk Valley, and the southern tier counties that border Pennsylvania; Broome, Chenango, etc.
New York State is MOST DEFINITELY in play and I predict that Trump will take New York State.
see my #25 and #49.
Much of New York State is ripe for a pro-working class Republican as well, including Long Island, Staten Island, and Westchester and Rockland, etc.
Because of Trump, New York will be a swing state this election cycle and Trump can win it.
If Trump wins Florida ( which he should ) and Ohio, plus a few others here and there, then N.Y. gets him over the 1237 on April 19th.; end of story !
Sienna College polling showing Trump losing NY State to Clinton among all voters by about 25%.
I seriously believe he has a good chance. Everybody Upstate loves him, and a lot of city dwellers are for him as well. I would love to start partying early on election night when NY turns red.
Trump has a better chance of stealing NJ than NY. Especially if Christie is VP.
I hope so. If he wins New York he wins the election. But he's got a big deficit to overcome. In presidential elections New York is usually over 60% Democrat, and the trend has been against the GOP.
God, I hope so.
I’m afraid for Donald, though. He’s making the corrupt career politicians furious.
God, please protect him. America needs him.
