So, to continue your analogy, what you are doing is equivalent to saying “Sure, Auschwitz murders jews, but that is just ONE aspect of the camp. They also provide important labor to key war industries!”

Bad assumption. When people know that having sex will lead to babies they will have to struggle to support themselves, they have a lot less sex and with a lot fewer partners.
When they have the illusion that they can avoid the consequences of sex, or get someone else to pay for those consequences if they do happen, that is when they start acting irresponsibly, because they think they can get away with it.
When there are consequences, it encourages people to ask responsibly. No consequences encourages irresponsibility. Therefore, the development of birth control, legal abortion, welfare, etc, only increases irresponsible behavior.
