Do I personally thing Trump will dole out the money aspromised. Yes, these things take time. National Review is sorta jumping the gun IMHO.
Do I know that Trump has for decades helped Vets? Well NO. Perhaps one of you Trumpetts can link me to info I can digest that goes back "decades".

The $57,000 number is from another hit piece saying that Trump only gave $57,000 to vet groups from 09-13.

The hold-up is that it was money that was ‘pledged’ and they’re still waiting for all of the donors to pay up.
“He’s distributed multi-millions of dollars…It was money that was pledged, and we are still collecting it,” Lewandowski said. “We are continuing to follow up with people who pledge donations.” Additionally, he said: “We’ve added another couple dozen organizations to the list of veteran organizations that will receive donations.”
Exactly....how much have the CRuzios donated to the vets, or any cause?

So he says. But really - a man who says he is worth $10 B and is so committed to veterans and wounded warriors - and his foundation only gives $57k over a period of 5 years (a little over $11K per year)? And most of that money was raised from other people, not even donated by Trump himself.
And at the same time, Trump was repeatedly attempting to get the city of NY to keep veterans who were street vendors from doing business on 5th Avenue near his office building. That's some really great support from Trump!
Provide them with your rebuttal. I think that ought to do it.
