Don’t you understand that Trump really cannot win unless he has a ceiling of 100% and even then it will be very iffy and if Karl Rove is not on board with a 100% ceiling then it is a no go for Trump.

It’s a myth that Trumps has a ceiling in the 30s. Success breeds success. It’s is also dumb to assume as candidates withdraw that none of their supporters will go Trump.
I do think Trump needs to get to mid 40s to be safe in a 3 way race and keep the establishment from winning the nomination in the end, but the idea he has a ceiling in the 30s and can not go higher as the fiield thins is silly.
