Those who say Ted Cruz is their 2nd choice and follow Trump to a 3rd party will be in effect voting against Ted Cruz and nullify any votes for Ted Cruz.

Something to think about.

Now is the time of choosing.

If he does go 3rd Party would there be any doubt that he was a Rat Party plant from the very start....or that the Rats have something on him and “made him an offer he couldn’t refuse”? And please don’t label me some kind of traitor...I agree with much (but not everything) of what he has to say.

Why doesn’t he just declare a 3rd party run and end the suspense, and reserve his seat of honor at Hillary’s inauguration?

I always thought he was going to play the Ross Perot role.

Actually it is the GOPe who will play the Ross Perot role once The Donald or Cruz wins the nomination. The petulants like pig rove and the chamber of commies will launch a 3rd party candidate such as mittwit or jeb and the crypto-RINO fumblewits here will be blaming Trump or Cruz for ruining the election and arguing FOR a 3rd party.

Trump signed a Pledge to support the GOP nominee. If he bails then he is saying his
signature isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. He’s not going 3rd party. It’s hype
witch get him tons of free air time on the networks.

Exactly.

Since he’s all about “the deal,” he’ll reap some lucrative financial rewards from the Ãœbershrew for this. That phone conversation with Bill Clinton prior to his announcing his candidacy was very likely about more than golf.

I have always said I would vote for Cruz in the primary. I still think he is the best choice.

Do not consider a career in political consulting.

I don’t see any justification for Trump continuing to make this threat. He has been treated at least as fairly as Cruz. It is beginning to smell. Could he be taking his supporters and the country for a huge ride to betrayal?

I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I was originally a Cruz supporter, and I still am, but I am not convinced that he can win. I also support Trump.

The primaries are a long way off and much can happen between now and then.

If a candidate leads all of his fellow competitors, how is he considered to be a "Third Party"

Seems to me that anyone who chooses to continue to run against him should be the actual "third party"..........

If it puts money in his bank account, he’ll be perfectly fine with leading his supporters in any direction. And they’ll happily spin it all as awesome brilliance.

I would support him if the RINO’s select anyone but Cruz. With Cruz the nominee I think he’d be wrong going third party.

A total kick but team would be Trump/Cruz.

A Cruz/Trump ticket would be OK if Cruz would let Trump use his mouth run interference with the lefties and RINO’s.

Where are they?
They are looking for ways to abrogate their promises.

Trump responded that he doesn't want to and it doesn't make sense with him leading by such large margins in the polls,

Notice this wasn't included in the headline.

The primary is the time your vote does matter in CA. We may not win in the general, but we get to help pick the nominee. That is, if it’s not already over, which it usually is and probably will be by June.

He better be prepared for the possibility that it is too late by that point to get on ballots.

And, even as nutty as Perot was, he was winning when he dropped out of the race the first time. Clinton was in 3rd.
