Some of these are misnamed.
1. Acrophobia (heights) Should be fear of circus stuntmen.
3. Claustrophobia (enclosed spaces) Should be fear of Santa Claus.
6. Necrophobia (death) Should be fear of giraffes.
7. Glossophobia (public speaking) Should be fear of shiny things.
10. Entomophobia (insects) This is a better word for fear of closed spaces than Claustrophobia.

I see nothing irrational about fear of heights.....gravity always seems to pull harder on me than most folks.
