It was other Alexandrians that wrote the names on the wall.
Later on, Maggie and Aaron wiped off Glenn and Nicholas'.

It wasnât Maggie.
Who was it and why would they do it?

I saw that.......

Somebody else wrote Glenn and Nicholas’ names on the wall. They don’t know what happened to Glenn and Nicholas. They only know they haven’t gotten back yet and they didn’t light the building on fire.
Maggie and Aaron still have hope, so they removed Glenn and Nicholas’ names from the wall.

Very interesting......that could have significant meaning to the series.

Heck, it’s a show about zombies which amble and still catch people so what would stop them from raising a dumpster?

Like everybody else said, there were a couple of nameless Alexandrians at the wall, writing the names. I guess they were doing it as a feel-good thing, a memorial, since they aren’t capable of doing much more than that.
Yeah, I see a little space under the dumpster...it’s conceivable that Glenn could have forced himself under it.
Question-—would the walkers keep trying to get at him, or lose interest and return to Nicholas?

They crawled under a tank for Rick when they had a whole horse to munch on :)

Maybe there’s a hole in the bottom of the dumpster that Glenn could crawl into, like Rick had in the tank. lol, it’s really far fetched. But he has to survive this somehow.

I’m so glad we have this thread.
To: Hot Tabasco
I don’t think it has any particular meaning - just that the Alexandrians don’t really know what happened to Glenn and Nicholas. They are just assuming that they’re dead because they haven’t made it back yet and they haven’t lit the signal (building on fire) that was supposed to distract the walkers.

I think the writers sometimes like to troll the viewers. LOL!

I really can’t wait to see how they resolve this. Personally I think he’s alive.
But tonight I’m going to enjoy a Daryl episode...I feel like he’s been onscreen for about three minutes so far this season.

I haven't read the comics, but I know about Negan from reading TWD forums. That guy looks like a good fit. Earlier, they were talking to Kevin Durand of "The Strain" about the role, but he decided against it because he was already obligated. I think he would have worked well, but I'm glad that he's staying with "The Strain"; I like his character, Fet, very much.

Maybe a new character will appear and save Glenn somehow. Maybe Skeezy and Sketchy.
