I would have to agree with that statement Ernest.
So many advances in semi-conductor development as well.
I can remember standing in front of my brother’s room mate,
a physical chemist in their “fine line processing department”
a few hallways from where I worked in ASIC design, and having
him give me a desertification with a black board full of quantum equations as to why we would never break a 1um channel
length in our then 5 um MOS transistor technology. That of course took place in about 1981.
How the course has continued in these fields. Take care.
