Or that the OR situation is about a Leftist nutjob singling out Christians for execution. That isn’t news to a Leftist news network. They aren’t out to make themselves or their fellow Leftists look bad.
Fox always replays the eight to eleven block of programs - originally done live - again beginning at eleven - and the latest cone of probability for the hurricane has it turning well out to sea by Monday morning, in spite of the wishes of every weather broadcaster on the east coast.....
Tom Terry with WFTV out of Orlando said at 11:00 that the hurricane is taking a more easterly track and moving further away from the eastern coastline and that the EGRR model is more right taking this out to sea. He said the US model (GFS) has been horrible predicting the path. There is a big low front coming down into Florida which “saves our bacon” and although it brings rain to the east coast, the hurricane is moving further away from the coast line and the most anyone will get is rough waves.
Not anymore, unless they can get someone else’s feed, like a local Fox station, or from SKY.
It’s been that way for a while, which is why I have pretty much stopped watching.
For breaking news, Drudge....
I wish they were more conservative and would focus on the CR and Ted Cruz. But alas they would bash him. But Fox News is no good for breaking news especially since half the time you get idiot Shep. I just watch local news feeds for breaking news. KATU is the local I saw for the Oregon stuff this evening.
Carl Cameron, my LEAST favorite ...
You still watching FOX News? Many around here haven’t watched them since the debate, and more climbed on board when they started the dump Trump routine. They won’t be doing your guy any favors either, if you have one. Jeb Bush or bust, basically.
This is BS. I have been watching FNN since 3:30 pm and it has been constant news about the shooting up through Hannity at 10 pm EDT with weather updates re: the hurricane.
I guess you live on the East Coast. You forget that a substantial number of your fellow citizens live on the West Coast, thus 11PM is 8PM. Is it OK for you that the millions by the Pacific get to sit down and watch FNC in prime time. You sound like the NY sports media columnist Phil Mushnick who is always complaining about national sporting events starting at 8pm or 9pm, never considering that the rest of the country might like to watch a game that did not start before they can get home from work.
Sure they do - and they repeat it, again and again.
Barely ever watch Fox anymore. It’s like they think their opinions are news and it’s mostly politics and political personalities. They tend to get hung up on trivial things, or did in the past. I get news from the internet mostly.
When they ‘break’ news it is usually so Mascara Boy can prance around in his loafers. I have ‘channel blocked’ FNC and use AccuWeather and OAN for my news.
From around 11PM EST to 5AM EST, Fox is nothing but reruns through the weekdays. Other than a couple of shows on the weekends, you might as watch grass growing. While I don’t necessarily watch FOX, I will use the station for Background noise. I tend to find FOX the less evil out of the entire bunch instead of saying I don’t watch it at all. Through the day they are “good” on news. Through the night once repeats start after Hannity, crickets. Occasionally they will do a top of the our thing. More and more though I am listening to my own music not pulled from cloud or radio.
The seven to eleven block is replayed with Red Eye thrown into the mix. The Five also gets played at the end of the night before the two ladies come on.
While I kind of agree with the fox news cycle some threads are actually dissing fox because they usually are last to report on a major story due to actually trying to get the right information instead of misinformation. When CNN was all “Asian plane down the world is going to end” and brought in expert after expert to tell us that passenger in seat 5A had a booger in his nose, Fox was actually carrying meaningful stories of the day.
One other thing... last I checked, Fox does mark the beginning/end of their broadcast day with a song like America the Beautiful (It’s been awhile since I last watched that early in the morning so could be something else patriotic) before the pre-friends show comes on.
