Oh my gosh we are in the same boat:( I’ve been at my job for 25 years. I get no satisfaction out of it and it’s mostly busy-work but I’m stuck here because it pays the mortgage (decent pay for part-time as I can’t work full) and has health benefits. As bad as it is here, I’m too scared to start over some place new. I’m very introverted and have no college degree.
Sounds like you need to let out that repressed creative energy somehow. Can you start out by taking some weekend classes? Test the waters a bit? Do you have any hobbies currently or do you work long hours?
I’m a graphic artist/illustrator/cartoonist. I’m going to pick up more graphic design work on the side and if it grows, I’ll ease out of this job. I may even part-time as a morning radio announcer.
Sounds like a plan, good luck to you:)
Add me to the long list of folks to ping should you post your exercise program.
