Make Your Own Colloidal Silver - Multiple Methods

I use a Radio Shack 13.5/30 volt AC adapter set on 30 with 9999 silver wire. I run the wire through a circle of styrofoam covering a quart Ball jar and then check the liquid with a red laser to make sure something's happening. If I couldn't get the wire, I'd probably use a couple of Maple Leafs.

Two eyedropper applications into the ladyfriend's nostrils while she was lying down cured a chronic sinus problem. Of course, the first time she did it, it hurt like hell. Guess the bacteria weren't anxious to lose their happy home.

Mr GG2 said the only reason he hasn’t used silver wire is he can’t find any that he is sure are pure silver.

My 92 year old mother has suffered in the past 5 years with worsening urinary tract infections to the point that about 5 days after she gets off the antibiotics it comes back. She has had every test known to man and they can’t figure it out. She finally had to start taking the antibiotics intraveneously and still 3 weeks later the infection was back. I got really worried about it and I put her on colloidal silver 2 months ago and she has not had a flare up since. She takes a daily maintenance dose of 7 drops of 250 PPM. If she feels symptoms we raise it up to 1 teaspoon per day. So far so good.

The generic is available for “aquarium” use in quantity and at reasonable prices.

I had a trial run on what happens during a disaster and realize that I need more preparation plus more money.

If you want to take care of yourself and your family, I recommend more preparation. If you will count on government, my recommendation has a minor modification: more Preparation H.

Battlefield? That isn’t on my SHTF list of things to do.

You do not have to come to it. It can come to you.

It's kind of like a nuke in that respect; if you can, don't be there when it arrives.

But i think it is smart to do what u say: cut off the road.

I don't think you want to do that a quarter mile from home. I think that's something for five or more miles from home (if it hasn't been done even farther away). I don't see feral youths getting very far in a SHTF situation. I see them turning inward on their own neighborhoods and eventually adjacent neighborhoods, and roads out are blocked by cars with no gas or by accidents long before the ferals even consider looking outside their comfort zone.

They've destroyed this country and are/will cause much pain & suffering to those who do not deserve it. That I cannot forgive, regardless of the blithe ignorance of their childish reasoning.

I am far more forgiving than I should be, but that's my generous nature. I have completely forgiven those who voted Obama 2008 based on optimism, euphoria, and mainstream media propaganda. Their vote led to pure evil taking power, but it's hard to blame those who foolishly fell for the lies. I have not forgiven and never will forgive those who are so greedy, so evil, or so stupid that they again voted Obama 2012. They knew what they were getting and consciously chose evil.

Aspirin is a drug best not kept beyond its use date, as an example.

Aspirin has a distinct and unpleasant smell when it has passed it's useful life.

Calcium Hypochlorite (pool shock) is sold in a solid granular form and has a 10 year shelf life when stored in a cool, dark place. This will easily meet your long-term storage needs. The other benefit is the amount of available chlorine.

It also makes a swell incendiary, that can either be used in smaller quantities to start fires, or at night, to overload and *bloom out* most night vision/light amplification devices for three to five minutes or so.

Even for localized events (wildfires, earthquakes, tornados, etc.) it can take a long time for first responders to get there, and to make any progress.

First the good news: The first responders have finally arrived!

Now the bad news: they're cannibals.

I get the feeling a number of people on this forum are hoping for a big breakdown...the better to shoot people.

I get the feeling a number of people on this forum are hoping we can avoid a big breakdown...but want to be prepared if it does happen. How likely is it? Ask Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yugoslavia, Somalia, and many other countries. How likely in the West? Less likely, but it hard to be sure how much less likely.

don’t count on leaving to get supplies when shtf because you may not be able to return to your home.

The one thing worse than a complete failure of government is a partial failure of government, where society no longer delivers services but big government interferes with you solving the resulting problems.

but I wonder if vinegar, which AFAIK lasts a long time, would be an alternative?

Vinegar is an acid, and it is nowhere near as destructive to the proteins (which are also acids) in bacteria/viruses as a base like bleach. There are even bacteria that do better in a mildly acid environment. So, no, vinegar is not an answer, unless you go with pure vinegar and pickle your food. That's takes a lot of vinegar and does not help with drinking water.

saving yourself from this will be the first priority...

Saving yourself from this with a method that also saves others will be a very close second priority. That's why I like the lead-and-brass solution to feral problems.
