Last summer I had head cold, strep throat and persistent coughing and my eyes glued shut with green goo all in about a months time.
I went to a Urgent Health Care Clinic near where I worked and this is what fixed me up. They also sent me to a heart doc to check out the upper chest pain. He said I probably had an upper respiratory infection.
A bad head cold that won’t get better after a week and you used the over the counter cold medicine? Then the following week you have strep throat with the head cold? Then get the medication Amoxicillin.
Still coughing after all this? Get Azithromycin for 5 days for the coughing.
Throat feels tight, narrow at times. A frog in your throat. Prednisone will fix this. Take just enough where you feel better. Taking the medicine too long can temporarily affect your vision, make it blurry. After you stop taking the medicine your vision will go back to normal. This drug also fixes aches and pains in your back and neck.
I have not been sick since.
