Whole lotta rain today and showers the next two after that at Dover. If no Q or practice today I assume they’ll start by points????

Friday afternoon weather update: Rain forced the cancellation of all on-track activities at Dover on Friday. Saturday's schedule now includes 2 Cup practices, an XFINITY practice (teams will practice rather than qualify) and the XFINITY Series race. However, rain will still be an issue.
The National Weather Service forecast is:
Saturday - Rain or drizzle likely. Cloudy, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a northeast wind around 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday Night - A chance of drizzle or light rain. Cloudy, with a low around 59. Breezy, with a northeast wind 22 to 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday - A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 68. Breezy, with a northeast wind 21 to 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday's on track activity canceled: Because of the continued rainfall, NASCAR and Dover International Speedway have announced the cancellation of today's on-track activities. The "Drive Sober 125" NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race will now be run at 9:30am on Saturday, Oct. 3. Grandstand gates at Dover International Speedway will open for fans at 8:00am. The Saturday, Oct. 3 "Hisense 200" NASCAR XFINITY Series race will start at the originally scheduled time of 3:30pm.
Because both events will be run on the same day, for the convenience of fans, Dover International Speedway will allow anyone with a previously purchased NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race ticket or a NASCAR XFINITY Series race ticket to remain in the grandstands for both events if they choose. The ticket holder that holds the ticket for that specific event will have priority (i.e. a ticket to the NASCAR XFINITY Series race during the running of that race) for the seating location. The other ticket holder is asked to move to a nearby, or general admission, seating area for the event. Fans are asked to please contact your usher with any questions or concerns.
The Sunday, Oct. 4 "AAA 400" NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will start at its originally scheduled time at 2:30pm.
Qualifying for all three series this weekend has been canceled. Starting lineups will be set by NASCAR rulebooks.
We continue to work closely with NASCAR, the National Weather Service and our on-site meteorologist to monitor the weather. We are currently tracking this weekend's weather and will update fans via social media, and our website, as information becomes available. You can keep up with the track via our app (download available for Android and Apple devices under the name of Dover International Speedway), on Twitter at Facebook.com/DoverInternationalSpeedway.(Dover Speedway)(10-2-2015)

How are pit stall's chosen? by qualifying results, the 1st choose their stall and so on.
If a car/driver has to go to the rear of the field before the start of the race due to driver change, backup car,
engine/transmission change, etc they do NOT lose their pit stall selection

NUTSCAR is in hurry up mode on the Busch Race, drying track and going to try to drop the Green. Cars are on the track live on NBCS!!!
It was good timing for me. I’m watching.
Road course race from Road Atlanta in a rain deluge is fun too.
NBCSN
Heck I just woke up.
What channel is R/A on ?
Fox Sports 2 (the old SpeedTV)
Sorry I was incorrect in my other post. NBCSN is the Nascar race.
I really wish I had 3 tvs, 2 for racing, one for football LOL.

Townley wins Las Vegas #05-John Wes Townley won his first Camping World Truck Series race, the Rhino Linings 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, on Saturday night after taking the lead with less than five laps to go. #88-Matt Crafton held the lead before pitting for fuel, relinquishing the top spot to Townley, who started second. #17-Timothy Peters finished second after #13-Cameron Hayley ran out of gas as Townley took the white flag. Peters was followed by: #11-Ben Kennedy, #8-John Hunter Nemechek, #33-Brandon Jones, #14-Daniel Hemric, #19-Tyler Reddick, #88-Matt Crafton, #4-Erik Jones, and #13-Cameron Hayley. There were 3 caution flags for 19 laps and 15 lead changes among 9 leaders.
#29-Austin Theriault was airlifted to a local hospital for further evaluation after a wreck on lap 14. He climbed from his truck under his own power. Complete results are on the Las Vegas race results page (pdf). (10-3-2015)
WOW! I just realized the Zaxby’s Chicken Truck not only finished a Race but WON IT!!!
Who is in, who is out, this should be an exciting race as I am sure Harvick doesn't want to be kicked out of the chase this early, after his very successful season.
In other news, I am taking a break from preparing threads for the next year. Any volunteers want to take over?
Someone got one hell of a photo!!!
looks protected to me...
That’s a different Truck/Race/Wreck than last night. I saw a replay of last night and it was just a few feet past the SAFER Wall coming out of the turn.
I posted that pic to show the wall in “action”
