It would be really nice for a change for some posters to talk about the issues and not attack me.

The ones that are specifically associated with the GOP? Trash, wouldn’t vote for any of them if my life depended on it.

Carson is pro-amnesty, FioRINO is a RINO and a GOP plant candidate.

Cruz, while I like him very much, has some poor senate votes, but more importantly does not seem to be resonating with voters in a way that leads me to believe he can win.

So yes, out of the entire field, Trump is the only one addressing issues that people care about in a big way, and he is not an apologetic, sacred of his own shadow, can’t we all just find away to get along and respect each other because the American people are tired of bickering blah, blah, blah sissy ass faggot like just about everyone else in the GOP field.

And then I come to FR and see almost everyone here supporting him.

I think there are plenty here that are skeptical, dubious or downright against Trump, but are holding their fire because he is at least attacking Liberals. Juan MacClaim, Mittens, and Senior Jeb are very vocal about their opposition to conservatives and have drown a lot of flack from Freepers.

Soon enough, once the media figures out they can't push Trump out as easily as they thought; they will call on him to denounce Rush Limbaugh and the Radical wing of the party if he want’s to have a serious campaign. Then things will get interesting.

At the end of the day. It's still Cruz or lose.

I see a lot of “believes” and “wants” in that list you linked to.

That’s going on blind faith.

Rush, like me, is totally enjoying the Trump hysteria in the MSM, RNC & GOPe.

I'm a Ted Cruz fan.

But it's shaping up to be Trump/Cruz.

And if so, they have my vote.

How 'bout you?

Rush is not supporting Trump. He never supports in the primary. It’s not his fault that Trump has a habit of capturing the imagination of people - he’s funny and quick on the draw and does fun press conferences. Since Rush is in a business that requires some entertainment, it is natural that he would enjoy the Trump show. I mean, does anyone really want to listen to full a Carly Fiorina press conferences?

And I certainly don’t think Rush is denigrating people like you who do not admire The Donald. I’ve never heard him express anything like that.

Bush, McCain, Romney, etc. are not conservatives. And only Bush is running. And if you are talking about G W Bush, then none of those people are running. So, I’m not sure how that’s relevant.

I’m talking about people like Walker, Cruz, Jindal, Carson, etc. Trump is believed to be far more conservative than any of them?

Businessmen who do not keep their word and deliver what they promise, do not make billions of dollars. Donald Trump said a lot of stuff we may not agree with back in the day before he decided to get serious, and was asleep. But now he is wide awake and quite serious, he sees the problems we are facing that are going to destroy us, and speaks the the politically incorrect truth. Plus, he gets advice from the right people.

So here is how it is, If Donald Trump is elected president and does not keep his word, not only will he will not be re-elected but the economic ruin that is inevitable if we do not have a strong hand at the wheel, will destroy his own net worth in the process. With any of the global elitists (Clinton, Bush, Biden, Romney, Graham, etc.) our country will be a country in name only, we will have utterly lost our way of life, our constitution, and our culture.

Maybe Donald Trump will do no differently than the status quo, but we know for certain that the status quo politicians will continue the status quo.

Donald Trump is our Hail Mary Pass. Why can't you see that?

My reasons are simple:

1. The GOPe must be destroyed first. The GOPe hate Trump...see Wills, Krauthammer, Rove, etc. Trump is self-funded and therefore has the ability to call out every bought-out politician. This has the "e" terrified. They've also lost control of their electorate. They're terrified that they will no longer be able to dictate who the candidate should be.

I see how he's pushing around his competitors, and look forward to watching him call out the corrupt, bought-off, lying, unprincipled scumbags that were elected based on promises they never kept.

I also don't appreciate being talked down to. Not by them or by anybody else. The more they make me out to be an ignorant, racist, xenophobe, nativist, the more I will push back.

2. The media must be destroyed next. The media is used to driving the storyline. Deriving power with the threat of their ability to destroy careers simply by driving the storyline and manipulating public opinion. The media expects all politicians to pay their proper reverence. Trump is not doing that, and they hate it.

The media is also terrified that the myth of the all powerful Hispanic/minority activist vote MUST be appeased in order to win. That a candidate MUST surrender certain beliefs to these groups or face defeat. Trump is out to prove that myth wrong.

3. Trump's ego works to our advantage. Think once elected he's going to want to be known historically for being the worst con-man president in history? Or do you think Trump wants to be remembered for keeping his promises and being remembered as one of the great presidents?

Once #1 and #2 are accomplished, then I'll worry about getting the rest of it fixed. I'm thinking #3 will go a long way to taking care of the rest.

I just state the obvious—and know how often I’ve posted links to your threads, for example, with quotes from Scott Walker promoting open borders to have you post patently false denials of it over and over on new threads anyway.

Nobody but a paid hack does that with the regularity, boneheadedness, and persistence that you do. Didn’t hear Rush today, but can only guess that you are distorting what he said, since that’s your MO.

Rush did not say ANYTHING about voting for Trump. What he DID say was that the SAME GOPe that said we should compromise our conservative values for the good of the party— and vote for McCain and/or Romney— is now telling conservative voters (in and out of the GOP but mostly within the GOP)... to do exactly that— compromise our values and ignore the aspects of Trumps statements about immigration that true conservatives SUPPORT, but which the GOPe does not support (that is to say, the Bushies and amnesty).

Odd posting from you. Usually there is clarity.

So what do you make of that?

What do you think Rush is doing being the Trump network for a month (with no end in sight)?

I think Rush is pushing Trump and trying to ease real conservatives into softening their position on voting for a liberal.

It makes me sick.

Rush is being very weird on Trump. He tried to do some analysis yesterday about conservative intellectuals, activists, and ordinary working American conservatives. But I don’t get why he’s not able to figure out that Trump is the Perot of this election cycle helping Clinton or some other Liberal win. He’s being cagey and frankly losing credibility as a candid conservative. A flip-flopping phone like Trump needs to be called out not treated like one of us. Just because he now wants to situationally espouse conservatism for personal ambition doesn’t make sense.
