Exactly.
Suck it up, Mr. Trump, and show up.
I think this also allows Cruz to not be overshadowed by Trump.
Cardboard look alikes would have more life than some of the candidates!
_________
LOL You have a definite point there!
Trump will probably pay for his own microphone and give a speech that same day at the same time.
There should be some truth applied, divide the field in half, bill it as the more liberal GOP and than the conservative GOP. Two separate debates.
I’m reminded of something Lincoln said to reluctant warrior General McClellan,
(paraphased, he was talking about the Army),
“If you aren’t going to use the party, may we have it?”
I was sitting on the divan eating pistachios.
Three days before the first major, official debate, this NH event is a pointless gathering which serves mostly to draw more and more unwarranted attention to NH. There is plenty of time for other NH events without their horning in when most attention will be focused on the Fox News hosted debates.
Conservatives shout sit out their debate.
Then Trump supporters were going to support a Democrat in disguise anyway...
And, this was Trump’s doing...not the establishments (is that correct?). Look, if Trump can’t take the heat, then he doesn’t belong on stage.
He already holds his own debate EVERY time he talks.
Damn! We would think the ‘sit at home’ crowd had learned the hard lesson of enabling nobama a 2nd unfettered term.
Yeah—Especially since the majority Republican House and Senate are really holding the line against Obama’s agenda.
What if Trump had a rally at the same time?
Complete lie.
Agreed. Campaigns can get ugly, and dealing with Congress, terrorists, and other nations as President can as well. You can’t run away every time someone is mean to you. That’s not leadership.
That is mighty puzzling, ain’t it.
A guy on before Rush on KRLD Dallas, pretty much laid it out with the Go-along GOPers. Same pile of poop, different flies.
We’ve got our work cut out for us having to fight both the dems and the GOPe in 16. I’m about ready for Texas to say “screw this, we’re going our own way”.
