I’d be curious to know how it shoots at 600 yds +. Pretty much any $400 bargain rifle with a cheap scope will give you 1” groups at 100 yds.

Maybe, but..
"Inline recoil path manages recoil directly from the rear of receiver to the buttstock, not through a traditional bedding system, providing the very best accuracy potential."
.. makes it sound like it might have a little more 'kick' than a standard rifle.

I’m a satisfied Ruger customer of long standing, owning a 9mm pistol and a .22 rifle. But $1400 is a bit rich for my blood.
To: RoosterRedux
I’ll take one in REM. 260.

why?
I don’t like lots of parts on my guns, like them simple for hunting. less maintenance too.
ok, I guess I am, I like bows and muzzle loaders too, the more primitive the better. I like precision shooters though.

I had an SR-556 and an old SP-101 (both lost in a damned boating accident). Love Ruger for quality.
Also lost in that horrible accident was my Baby Glock 9mm.
Word to the wise, don't take a boat to your favorite shooting grounds.

I think you can furnish it with anything an AR-15 can take...so
YES.

Awe, it’s just a kidney. You won’t miss it when you learn what you will have to give up for an appropriate optic to go with the rifle.

Possibly. Brake wouldn’t hurt. Definitely looks neat. Wouldn’t mind shooting one.

Why only a 20” bbl in .308? I’m no expert, but wouldn’t a little longer be better?

They will make their money on the bling. I think the 10-22 has more bling available for purchase after the sale then any other platform.

I have an SR9 pistol for self defense and a .22 Sporter for plinking around my property. Love them both. Never had a single problem, the pistol is easy to handle and I like safety on both sides. I’m very satisfied with both.

15 pounds !
And they only tested at 100 yards.
