Trump at least answered, not afraid of the repercussions.
I have more respect for that than what Cruz did, which was not answer.

I suspect you do too or you would've answered my question as to what you thought of Ted's non-answer.

Oh, Cruz answered. He said that South Carolina should decide, which they already did---the flag is up, after all.

Also, his SC co-chair called the attempts to remove the flag a Stalinist purge. A spokesperson for Cruz said that viewpoint doesn't conflict with Ted's own.

The most interesting point of our discussion, though, is the fact that you respect a liberal POV.

What's happened to some of the people on this conservative site? Are Trump's loudmouthed proclamations so awe-inspiring that your eyes glaze over and you forget yourselves?

If he was fearless, he would admit his net worth is between $150 million and $250 million.

And you know this how? I guess you're having fun making stuff up.

You have allowed the Trump bashers change the subject of this thread from something they are afraid to talk about, illegals.

Please, grow up. Ted Cruz agreed with OBAMA’S POV on trade until he faced a backlash. Did you find that INTERESTING?

I think the interesting thing is that you still didn’t answer a very simple question of what YOU thought of Ted’s (non)answer.

The fact is you’ll never know Cruz view (he also didn’t have the courage of his convictions to say if he would attend a gay wedding. Is that a tough question? Certainly not for me.

Such things do make me question a candidate’s character.

Because the most thorough investigation found that. Trump sued over it and lost. All the other estimates are based on Trump puffer. In a deposition, Trump even acknowledged that he exaggerates and that his worth is based on how he feels.

Trump feel for the media snare. Cruz is actually intelligent and didn’t go for it. Advantage Cruz.

LOL, Trump said it in public in front of people. Now you are saying there’s a conspiracy that is making Trump say things he didn’t mean. Nothing is real! Except that Donald Trump is the one pure person in the universe!

Forbes estimates his net worth at 4.1 billion. The difference is that they estimate the worth of his “brand” (the Trump name) at 150 million, he says 3.3 billion. And they estimate the value of his golf courses at 200 million, he estimates it at 800 million. Maybe he’s exaggerating, maybe they are undervaluing, or both. But it’s nowhere near as low as you say.

Do some research. Forbes admitted they had to go by what he said, but they realized he inflates.

There were two more thorough investigations of his worth. One was by Deutsche Bank and put his net worth at $788 million.

The most thorough and sourced one was by an author and backed up by Wall Street Journal and New York Times. That put his value at $150 to $250 million, and relied on sources close to him.

Trump sued over the later and lost. In a deposition, Trump admitted he exaggerates his worth, and that his net worth depends on "how he feels." He also admitted to overvaluing various deals by a lot.

For example, he claimed he owned 50% of a certain project. When he was shown in court he owned 30%, he said he felt, although it's really 30%, he considers in 50%, because he didn't put any cash up. Does that make sense to you?

any way you stack it, he;s not a billionaire.

Donald doesn’t have to be PC. He’s rich and owes no private groups anything. Yes, he has some stances on issues that I disagree with, however, I do like his fearlessness. For the record - I am not supporting him or anyone yet - I was on the Cruz bandwagon, but, I’m just not so sure any more. Color me confused at this point.

The Donald will liven things up, but let's hope it doesn't come down to him as our last choice. I still back Cruz and even stronger than before - try more facts and less of the crapola that those on FR dish out because they need to find faults with all our best in order to justify their pathetic lives - they prefer to whine than to win.

I understand what you say but on a practical level I think in this case Trump did better than Cruz. Cruz needs to take advantage of such questions and put them right back on the questioner (like when he said all democrats seem to be preoccupied with sex) in a way that the general public (who don't think too deep) understands. fwiw, Trump has issues I likely could never look beyond, but I (we) crave someone who isn't afraid to fight back.

"Please, grow up. "

Is that the Trump rubes' latest rationalization for supporting a liberal Democrat? It's "grown up" to do so?

"Ted Cruz agreed with OBAMA’S POV on trade until he faced a backlash. Did you find that INTERESTING?"

LOL, I pictured you drooling and rubbing your hands together as you typed that last word.

What I find INTERESTING is that you got schooled on Cruz's response to the flag issue and you're trying to quickly switch to another topic. Sorry, won't wash.

"I think the interesting thing is that you still didn’t answer a very simple question of what YOU thought of Ted’s (non)answer."

Perhaps, then, you need glasses. Or a course in reading comprehension.

"The fact is you’ll never know Cruz view (he also didn’t have the courage of his convictions to say if he would attend a gay wedding. Is that a tough question? Certainly not for me."

Seems that all of these tough questions of yours are in your own imagination. Whatever helps you feel better about supporting a liberal Democrat like Trump, I guess.

"Such things do make me question a candidate’s character."

Yet Trump the liberal's own statements and his own history don't make you question his character.

Funny, that.
