Associating the 2nd Amendment with gun violence shows Rove's mindset.
It isn't about the guns!

It's so clear who Fox News journalists are in the bag for. Jeb Bush. Every guest on Journal Editorial report over the weekend actually applauded Jeb for seeking the center and moving away from the right. The fact they let a bozo like Rove on to push his Rockefeller agenda is telling. No wonder Beck left the network.

Wow, somebody who actually read what he said and understood it.
I’m very impressed!

Stating that A is necessary for B to happen is not necessarily saying that you are in favor of A.
If I note that the only way to largely eliminate gun violence is to get rid of guns, I’m stating a fact.
Do you disagree? Or do you have a magical method by which we can have guns widely available yet prevent bad people from misusing them?
BTW, I’m not a fan of Rove, and I think what he said was poorly worded. But he’s simply not calling for repeal of the 2nd Amendment.
BTW, campaigning for amendment of the Constitution is a perfectly American thing to do. The Founders provided for it.
What is unAmerican is to ignore or reinterpret out of existence the plain meaning of the Constitution.

Bush was sort of like Grant, in that he seemed to surround himself with less than stellar personnel.
Rove, thank you for revealing your true colors: domestic enemy of the constitution.

I don’t recall Rove stating that “crime would cease”. I think his point was that without a constitutional Ammendment a gun grab would be illegal. And, his inference was (he should have stated) was thereby it ain’t gonna happen.
