The Trump voter is a man or woman who thinks that the problems of the American economy are Simple and can be solved by a Quick Fix.
Someone who wants to click heels and be whisked away to 1955, when America bestrode the world and our government often ran in the black.
Someone who doesn't really want to think about that $18 trillion debt or that unfunded $60 trillion Social Security liability.
What we really need is not a Trump, it's a Churchill who will promise us blood, toil, tears and sweat until we get our bills paid off.
Fat chance of that, though.
