This is from Jimmy's FB page. Not sure if the link works if you're not registered or not, but all the text is in the body here.

It's nice of him to go spend time with Glen and it's also nice of him to write something like this to reassure fans.

Fans should approach him on FB - he's very accommodating. What a songwriter he is. Top 1% easy.

Glen is and was my favorite artist. Wish I could have seen him live.

It is almost as though he is giving a never-ending performance.

Interesting observation, especially from someone who made his living creating new works.

Thanks for posting. Jiummy Webb has always seemed a very decent, and certainly talented, guy.

This is a 50 year friendship, very touching tribute by Webb.

Was just playing a little Glen Campbell for my kids as we were coming up from New Mexico. He sure could sing and play the guitar. Thanks for pisting. Will have to share with my mom. She always liked him and feels bad that he has Alzheimer’s.

Sounds about as good as can be expected, and that’s great to know, as he gave us so much.

Johnny Rivers first recorded BY THE TIME I GET TO PHOENIX. Then Glen heard it and fell in love with it. Webb is one of the greatest song writers to ever live. And what a team he and Glen made.

A terrible disease. I saw him live at Moorhead State College, must have been 1968. He was the opening act for the Rightous Brothers! What I remeber most about his performance ws his incredible guitar playing. He did rhinestone cowboy which was his most recognizable record at the time, I think...

Thanks to Jimmy Webb for that uplifting update on Gen Campbell’s condition. So glad to hear he’s doing good.

These are the two videos I've been fixated on lately:

Galveston - CMT w/ great intros

Gentle on my Mind - performed in front of legends, by maybe the most legendary of all

One more: The guitar work @ 5:00 in this Macarthur Park performance would make Hendrix blush and Clapton quit.

I really loved his music back in the day. The guy could really play the guitar. I recall buying this album back then.

Jimmy Webb was a brilliant songwriter.

What a thoughtful, loving and reassuring thing for him to post this.
