Bill has been a successful employee, and that will be good whether he goes to work in Luxembourg or in Charlotte. I reminded him that it doesn’t cost anything to apply, and any job is better than none.
Once he graduates, he needs a short-term plan for independence, not sitting around at home waiting for the “dream job.”
I’m glad for Bill that he is such a good employee. It’s a good reputation to have and it will follow him wherever he goes. Good for him.
Independence is a good thing, after college...
Yes, independence is good. We don’t plan to kick him out the day after graduation, but a Plan is required, either for a position elsewhere, or full-time work here with a (short-term) timeline to have his own apartment and transportation. Since OldTax-lady is paying his tuition, he’s saving most of what he earns at Harris Teeter now.
Good for Bill, saving his money. That says a lot for him. And he will need it when he goes abroad.
When does he graduate?
Next May, if all goes as planned. He needed the courses he’s taking right now in the summer session.
Well, I’ll go out there later and make sure that it’s my
Kerblacht. Be careful because he really loves cookies.
Does your Kerblacht have any distinguishing marks?
I’m going to have another breathing treatment and head for bed. I don’t know why I’ve felt so stressed today, but going to bed sounds very good to me right now.
I hope you have a good night! I’m going to give Kathleen her bath.
Cuz most birds aren't long enough to touch 2 wires, which is what it takes.
Long snakes, on the other hand...
The Sorting Hat offered Timmy a position as ghost at Hogwarts.
They pretty much all look alike.
If you see one, watch out, because they bite.
Not a surprise.
Sure enough, Vlad’s a Slytherin.
I’ll be alert.
In terms of full disclosure, BWAHAHAHA, not only does no one disclose anything, the uniparty will see their ends are met, thank you.
I, out of a deep rooted attachment to service to and for my fellow FReepers, repost the following admonition (supplied on the post page, though you've no doubt ignored it, without recupercussion to this day):
"This forum allows optional use of most HTML tags. If your post does not contain HTML, it will be converted to HTML when posted, retaining paragraphs as typed. This conversion is not performed if you have anything resembling an HTML tag in your text."
As Laz would say ... we're so screwed.
If he was up there, I didn’t see him, and besides, he prefers to
pilfer the food inside of the fridge. He can see well in the dark.
Now, opening the door, which turns on the light, would bother him
a lot because he would be startled.
and I defy anyone to make such a post from an iPhone!
or deify.
Whatever.
;-)
here, hear?
Lonely Space
A story I am writing for the blog.
A ruined Earth, a massive ship full of frozen humans, and a destination somewhere on the far-side of the galaxy. And a long lonely stretch in between.
