What would it do? Anything at all?
Happy Boithday!!
As I was told on my 40th (by a 55-y-o so I’m saying it to you a year and a quarter early) -
It’s true everything is downhill after 40. But it’s also true that everything hurts more.
If it helps any, I didn’t find the latter to be true, but I was not the athelete my comfortor was.
I have no idea. I shut it of as I normally do last night and this morning, it wouldn’t turn on. Period. I tried it several times, leaving and coming back to it, but nada. So I will hope this one lasts till Monday. Thankfully, I don’t have much on the hard drive, but I still hate to lose what’s there.
And with that, I’m off to Vegas. See y’all in a couple of hours.
Happy Birthday, Darks, and many happy returns of the day,
not to forget all the prezzies your family will no doubt
shower upon you for being such a brilliant family member.
You’re only 28 years younger than I am! LOL! Don’t worry.
I still like you and think you’re a cool dude.
I work tonight, so no cake or anything worthwhile.
:-(
On my way to Vegas, I thought maybe it might have been the surge protector the computer was plugged into, but I just got home, and before I did anything else, I checked to see that they were both on. NOT the surge protector.
It wasn’t too bad on the way over, as the sun was at my back, but coming home, it was bright and shiny, right into the windshield.
And the trip was almost exactly two hours. At the pain clinic, they said the computer says I was never called. Ungh! I KNEW that! LOL! I stopped at Walgreens to get it filled, but I have to wait a week. Good thing I only use half a dose at a time, or I would be in some serious pain by then.
So. That pesky migraine is back. Or it never left, most likely. I thought of going after some libation but decided against it.
well, that’s not so cute
Yes, yes you will
Grumpy Cat is grumpy.
Yes!
It’s a laptop, right? Unplug it and take out the battery for at least 5 minutes. Then try putting it back together and restarting it.
I can do that. It’s out. Now I will wait.
Maybe tomorrow?
Well, happy, happy to you from me, Bryan, and our four cats.
Sigh...
It’s dead, Jim.
That’s pretty rare. No lights lit - nothing?
Maybe the brick died (that thing in the cord). THAT happens (rarely, but less so).
CHAPTER SEVEN is up

I think this will the last one I post on the blog. When it is finally finished, I will put it out as an e-book
The only light that was on was the WiFi light. And that was when it was plugged in to the power cord.
I will take the laptop and the cord on Monday, and let them mess with it. I can’t even get the stuff off the hard drive.
It will probably be gone for three weeks or more, so I will need a loaner.
I called Aaron’s and they gave me a number for HP. I called, but the robot voice couldn’t hear me, so I will be taking the laptop in on Monday as planned. The robotic voice also told me to go to the HP website...
I’m sorry, but if I can’t turn it on, there isn’t much I can do...
Robots.
We are taking over more and more human jobs.
-er-I mean THEY are.
Ah’d lahk to thahnk mah mahnny, mahnny fahns for this 500th post.
