Dog now, some times cats and dogs in the past. But there have always been animals in my family from early days.
friendly birds....and smart to seek a protector from the cat, lurking and prepared to pounce.

This Steiff cat is listed for 198 Pounds, which is about $300. You could get a real purebred Birman kitten for about that!
A finch, four parakeets and two conures...Babysitting in safety!
Kewl!!
Unnnggghh. It’s morning again. 73 and 32%, with no wind as yet. It was blowing fairly fiercely yesterday, and I needed three breathing treatments because of the dust.
It will blow again today, just as bad if not worse. So I am going to Walmart before the wind begins. But it’s nice not having the A/C cycle on so often!
Mine too, but my siblings got ticket when I talked about them that way.
*ticked*
So, do his stories make a good soporific?
I have a 100th Anniversary Teddy Bear, with glasses and a flat cap (golf hat?) but he sits on a shelf. The late Mr. Daniels gave him to me, just before he got really ill and passed away.
It should be fitted with a glass dome to protect it, but I don’t have the money for it, yet.
I checked on eBay and Amazon, and out of the hundreds I looked at, I never saw one like mine. The prices varied widely on both sites from $9.99 to $79.00.
(I still miss that old guy.)
Get one of those plastic storage bins, run $5-$7 in a size that Theodore would fit. Until a cryogenic chamber shows up on e-bay.
The bear was in storage for almost five years, but I want him on display, now that I have gotten rid of most of the clutter and debris in my life.
The little guy needs a place of honor. He will go to my son when I die, so I want the bear preserved.
What I had read was very good, unfortunately I fell back asleep. NOT because of his writing. I just did.
Perhaps because his writing calmed your mind and put you at peace with the world.
Not a bad recommendation, that.
That would have real good advertising possibilities!
“Guaranteed Sci-Fi Sleep-Aid”
You didn’t read the story, obviously.
lol
Well, phooey. I went to Central Piedmont to pay Tom’s tuition, and they were closed. I texted Tom to send me his username and password, so I can pay online. I hope he gets it to me by this weekend, or I’ll have to take Kathleen over there on Monday and wait in line, loudly.
Well, drat. What a revoltin’ development that is...
While I was at Walmart, I forgot to price the mouses, but I will do so online. There isn’t enough left for that and food, too, so it will wait.
My next favorite sister-in-law is turning 90 on Saturday, and if I had the money, I would go to her celebration. How she has put up with my brother for as long as she has, I will never know, but she is a real sweet, gentle person, and I love her.
You could send her an e-card.
