That will put a stop to the invading hordes at the Channel Tunnel.
Peace in our time.
Resume punting on the Cam.

Isn’t Fortum painted that pretty blue color ( or should I have said colour) outside the store?

It was so long ago I don’t remember. It was a gift for my mother, so it had to be decaffeinated.

It has to be said that you have mastered the National Psyche of the Uk.
A certificate will be in the post.
There is an exam question however....is it the cream or Jam on the scone first? Hmmm? :)

That must have been a zippy fun drive.
Have you noted the changes in car design in the last decade or so. Every thing started looking like suppositories, now, cartoons.
It’s good to look fierce when that small. An albino hamster on steroids.

Above 6k Rpm it pulled like a thing possesed.
It cornered like it was on rails.
The interior was of a very high standard as was the external build quality.
The only problem is the engine is just to small and runs on Petrol.
For an around town runabout, first class, but to drive any real distance just to small

Way back in another life my new bride bought a Renault R5 with the embarassing Le Car badge. But, it was like a turbo gocart on the commute into NYC. Made for a very lively trip into and out of the city. Cavernous interior.
At the time the local Lotus dealer offer a free R5 with the purchase of an ?Elite. Can’t recall exactly

That would be a collectors piece by now.
Probably the Lotus Elise. :)
Did the R5 Successor the “Clio” make it Stateside?

I learned recently that Dr. Skoda from Law and Order was, you got it, named after the car brand as a joke.
