Your very own darksheare.
Congratulations, and keep him out of Victoria's Secret.
If he asks why, it's a secret.
Darksheare is taller than I am.
My son is not “normal.” He is a total whack job that kept me in stitches the entire 18 years he lived under my roof. His humor is twisted and hilarious and his mind is constantly working to find new ways to tweak reality.
When he has nothing better to do, he repairs small engine equipment for a construction company and in his spare time, he restores VWs for fun and profit.
I just got a call from the HMO, inquiring about the BP med that was prescribed for me in February. I had to tell the gal that CFIDS makes my BP go up instead of down, and that I am taking herbal meds to lower it.
Why they are asking NOW, in July, about a med that was prescribed in February, is beyond me. I have since been given another that has also proved to be anti-low blood pressure!
So when I go tomorrow to get the x-rays of my neck, I will give them a list of the meds I’m taking for the BP. *sheesh*
You came up on someone’s computer screen today. At least they know you’re still alive.
Good luck with the x-rays tomorrow.
Said the munchkin.
Nothing wrong with Munchkinry, by the way. They follow rules.
Short people live longer than tall people, other things being equal.
Oh. Did someone Goober me?
I actually meant “pick up” the x-rays of my neck, for my ortho appointment on August 4.
“Australia is not without its dangers and every animal in the country can be classified as belonging to one or more of the three categories: Dangerous, Poisonous, and sheep.” — Rorschach’s Blot
Oh. I thought “get the x-rays” meant “have the x-rays done,” rather than “pick up the pictures.” The latter is much less trouble.
I’m listening the “Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix” on CD while doing the dishes. Almost finished it. Lucius Malfoy is such a creep in the books, but in the movies, he’s so good-looking!
Even koalas will claw you.
Kangaroos .. dangerous
Duck-billed Platypi .. poisonous
Ants .. poisonous
Spiders .. you’re kidding, right?
Drop bears .. you know
sheep .. woolly
I didn’t express myself very well, I’m afraid. And sorry.
But who Goobered me? No one knows I exist except NSA...
I would watch the HP movies if I had them. They would be fun to see again, but there is no way. Maybe on Amazon, if I can remember the sequence...and if it coincides with a payday that allows a Frivolity...
If you’re lying on the ground unconscious - not unusual for Aussies, one reads - sheep might walk on you.
The late FReeper Alia and I agreed that Lucius Malfoy in a Jaguar was the antidote to the slovenliness of modern life.
And you just have to get well enough to visit us again, and we’ll watch them all and drink too much wine.
O. My. Golly! He is SUCH a hottie! (She says, from the perspective of 70+ years!)
Antidote is not exactly what I was thinking, but it will do for a “Family Thread.” *swoon*
Exactly, and one appreciates your keeping your language clean ;-). In the book, though, he’s really irredeemably nasty, and a coward in the end, too.
As soon as this neck thing is taken care of, I will be more than happy to make a visit to the T-c household. Next time, though, if it isn’t too much more expensive, I would like to spend a couple of days in Little Rock with my son on the way home. I don’t know when I will see him again, and I don’t know how many times I will be able to fly by myself. And I will see if he can contribute something to the trip.
One thing is for sure, though, and that is that I am looking forward to seeing you and all the Chicklets again. And, lest he be offended, Der Prinz, as well. I hear he has good taste in wine!
Excellent taste in wine, and he also plays the guitar very well.
When you’re well enough to travel, I don’t see a problem with your scheduling a flight through Little Rock. I doubt it would add more than $50 to the total cost, if that. As I keep mentioning to children who are travelling, there is rationality to airline pricing, but it is not understandable by any customer.
