Yeah but Romney was an extreme leftist, pro-gay, cult bishop that couldn’t be trusted.

Trump may be a megalomaniac but he understands trade and economics, he manages far more people than Romney ever thought about, Trump is Pro traditional marriage and gay issues are “not his thing”, and Trump despite the casinos does claim to be Christian.

Trump is Pro traditional marriage

So much so that he's had three of them. Not my idea of a marriage advocate.

That's a good article, but lacks a few key details. David Jaeckels seems to be the corrupting part of that business, not the Walker donor mentioned in that article. The best thing to do for this case is wait until July when they issue the report on this bad loan.

In any case, you should post articles like that to their own thread rather than bury them here. You should not post one-year old articles that were debunked a year ago.

He's getting old and wants an even greater legacy at America's expense.
I tried to think of what kind of jobs he's created from his business dealings
and all I can think of is champagne servers and maids.

I believe Trump may just be what America needs at the moment.

Someone needs to be for American jobs.

Who else running, in either party, is for American jobs?

The right question is which candidate will get the Government out
of the way for American jobs. Cruz....

I’m not sure I agree at the moment.

We shall see.

I wish very much, that Ted Cruz were (far) more vocal about bringing back what just one generation ago, was the largest export machine in human history.

Sending our manufacturing to the country with the world’s largest population, no legal immigration except to their own race, and a communist government is in my opinion a terrible mistake.

Simply terrible.

America needs once again, to be for American manufacturing.

Neither party gets that.

One sound bite about China doesn't make Trump the jobs president. The fact that
our manufacturing is done mostly in China now is only the symptom of the problem.

FWIW – Trump’s clothing line – what isn’t made in China is made in Mexico and Bangladesh.

He doesn’t strike me as particularly bright. He took a million dollars from his dad, at a time when a million dollars was much more than it is today, and invested in NY city real estate, a no-lose proposition for even a mediocre businessman. I could see him getting tripped up by an interviewer with even a minimally difficult question. He’s pushy enough to get what he wants from his employees but without his silver spoon he’d be selling used cars in Jersey.

Trading with China - good
Sending our factories to China - bad

I think Trump gets it. The other candidates, not so much

The average American voter is not that tuned in.

TC needs to play it smart. I’m more than sure he ‘gets’ all sorts of things. It’s a question of ‘delivery’ AFTER winning office. We’ll see.

I believe Trump may just be what America needs at the moment.

The Donald needs the Donald.

We do not need the Donald.

I'd rank him down there with Jebbie and the Huckster, just below Krispy Kreme.

At this point, I'd say our best bet is Ted Cruz or Scott Walker.

Sometimes you can hold up a standard that you don’t live up to yourself.

America frequently gets criticized for that. We hold up democracy and basic human rights. Foreign countries look at any flaw in our system and call us hypocritical.

That doesn’t make the standard wrong. And it doesn’t make America wrong for holding up the standard, even if sometimes we struggle to live up to it ourselves.

Likewise Trump having failed marriages does not invalidate his support for traditional marriage.

"FWIW – Trump’s clothing line – what isn’t made in China is made in Mexico and Bangladesh.

So Trump is playing by the rules, the way our government has them set up. He would be stupid to manufacture them in America with the current trade rules.

Trump understands you need to change the rules.

It does not make traditional marriage wrong, but it does call into question whether Trump himself really believes in it.

"...but I know how to make this country great again. I know how to make our country rich again, which we have to do in order to make it great.”

OK, how?
