Other than "Gay and Proud" T-shirts or Rainbow Attire, how can you tell?
And even then, do you know?
I mean, you may be right.
But I've never seen anybody "visibly gay" at Mass. Girls do hug and kiss at the Peace, but that's just girls being girls and their mamas didn't tell them that's not for Mass.
So. ??
Feelz Before Realz!
LOL! THAT is being stolen ;)
Repent.
I stole it from these good people:
(Short funny YouTube: you'll love this)
LOL! That was great!
one, has he written a similar letter to divorced and remarried people who receive communion? How about those not married bu just living together?
two. They might be living together without having sex, i.e. as brother and brother.
it is the priest's duty to bring this up in private, not a layperson.
finally, there are a lot more sins out there than sexual ones. The priest should be preaching all ten commandments.
Holding hands, kissing, the way they both pay attention to their foster kid.
Now, what do you think the priest should do? (Serious question.) FWIW, the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is not a regular parish and does not have parishioners --- which is to say, it does not have a "parish community" and does not have "parish activities".
Excellent point!
Life-giving? What in heck does he mean by that crud?
What does it mean by “life-giving”? Obviously not what heterosexual couples mean by life-giving.
Since he took out AIDS sufferers, I assume this was figured years ago (not that makes a difference).
“Life-giving” means sexual union in marriage that is open to children. Gay sex, like contraceptive sex, is not “open to life.”
Another sign of idiocy & delusion of the letter writer.
