[ If they put a “sin tax” on meat, I’m going to start eating vegans. Fair warning. ]

Just don’t eat the brain, with their lack of protein in their diets the proteins are all folded wrong and you WILL get Kuru!

Not that there is much brain to eat anyways...

“We pay a tax on gasoline in order to motivate us to conserve fossil fuels,”

Well, no. It is taxed to provide funds to maintain roadway and infrastructure.

So a meat tax would be to preserve grazing land, expand grazing land, and to provide more water for grazing land.

That’s a great idea: forget about tax on my beloved meat and tax movie goers on R-rated movies.

These people are sick. Either that, or longing for that socialist famine...

My Bio professor was attempting to sell that eating meat= global warming/carbon footprint spiel in class today. It just makes me want to eat a nice steak, really.

You forgot Brewers Yeast. My mother, a health-nut extraordinaire and basic lunatic, made me eat that stuff as a kid. Fie on black strap molasses, wheat germ and brewers yeast.

The only outcomes of taxing meat is the meat industry would die and all the farmers who can no longer survive as farmers would either be bought out by Conagra, Archer Daniels or some other oligoply or have their land taken from them for lack of payment.

Meanwhile, the only meat available would be in little crackers. That would be our protein. I am thinking some would be brown, some red and some green.

Brewers yeast only belongs in beer. Molasses OTOH is the basis of a great BBQ sauce, along with the smoky fat dripped from the meat.

Smoked ribs tonight. Slow cooked on my Weber Rocky Mountain smoker. Smothered in Stubbs BBQ sauce.

Can you smell them?

Can’t wait...

Fie on black strap molasses

Let’s not be too hasty there.

Rum is a fine by-product of molasses.

Like wife beaters, drug dealers, child molesters, armed robbers, murderers, embezzlers, etc.?

One and only one of the crimes on your list involves no unwilling parties.

Yeah, I might need to fatten em up first, but still, it’s a matter of principle for me. They want to choose to become prey animals? Well, maybe we should treat them as such.

How about a tax on every word proposing more control over people’s lives.

Ms. Ditz here, you owe 400 quadrillion dollars for wasting your time writhing this useless drivel.
