That’s a false statement from the press and from Obama. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has REPEATEDLY sought to correct the mistaken impression that he does not support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION.

He does support it and he says that he has maintained that same support ... going back to his Bar-Ilan speech, when Obama first got into office. He says his position in support of the Two-State Solution has not changed since then.

What it is ... is that the liberal press and Obama want to hammer on Netanyahu no matter what ... and they’ve picked up on a LIE that Netanyahu does not support the Two-State Solution.

Here’s Netanyahu’s support for a Two-State Solution from what he has been referring to in the last several days to COUNTER THIS LIE!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that he doesn’t hate the Palestinians either.

See his Bar-Ilan speech ...

As another posted article today pointed out, Bibi has to duck and weave. What makes for election winning statements will not work as policy. He’ll do or say whatever is necessary. But does he believe in a two state solution? I think he’d be crazy to believe in it. Support the two state solution with public statements? Yes. It’s a necessary fiction given Israel’s position in the world and the world’s various liberal fantasies. It won’t happen on his watch though. He was correct that any land given over to the Palestinians will be a new base from which to attack Israel.

I thought Khamenei calling for “Death to America” rather interrupted the “peace process.”

Of course Netanyahu bekieves in a Two-State Solution!

— — —

I turn to you, our Palestinian neighbors, led by the Palestinian Authority, and I say: Let’s begin negotiations immediately without preconditions.

Israel is obligated by its international commitments and expects all parties to keep their commitments. We want to live with you in peace, as good neighbors. We want our children and your children to never again experience war: that parents, brothers and sisters will never again know the agony of losing loved ones in battle; that our children will be able to dream of a better future and realize that dream; and that together we will invest our energies in plowshares and pruning hooks, not swords and spears.

I know the face of war. I have experienced battle. I lost close friends, I lost a brother. I have seen the pain of bereaved families. I do not want war. No one in Israel wants war.

If we join hands and work together for peace, there is no limit to the development and prosperity we can achieve for our two peoples - in the economy, agriculture, trade, tourism and education - most importantly, in providing our youth a better world in which to live, a life full of tranquility, creativity, opportunity and hope.

What is the alternative to a Two-State Solution ... it’s the solution that many Islamic Terrroists want and that many MISGUIDED enthusiasts for Israel say that they want ... that’s the ONE-STATE SOLUTION where Israel takes over all the land and annexes it into Israel Proper.

Prime Minister Netanyahu says (in recent days, plus in the past) that he is AGAINST a ONE-STATE SOLUTION. The reason why, of course, is that this would make Israel an ARAB STATE instead of a Jewish State. It’s also referred to as a BI-NATIONAL STATE.

So whenever you hear a ONE-STATE SOLUTION, or a BI-NATIONAL STATE or Israel takes over all the land and annexes it into Israel proper — you’re dealing with an ENEMY OF ISRAEL who wants the DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL!

Netanyahu doesn’t want the destruction of Israel and so that’s why Netanyahu is AGAINST a ONE-STATE SOLUTION and is FOR a TWO-STATE SOLUTION. It’s the only solution that will allow the continuation of Israel as the HOMELAND FOR THE JEWS and the preservation of the state as a JEWISH STATE!

You referred to another article ... “What makes for election winning statements will not work as policy.”

— — —

I do believe I posted that and referred exactly to that. And yes, “campaign slogans” are NOT official FOREIGN POLICY. Official Foreign Policy for Netanyahu is his Bar-Ilan speech.

How the government under Netanyahu is going to act is according to official Foreign Policy and not according to campaign slogans!

And, as I also pointed out, those to the right of Netanyahu and in the Nationalist group in Israel are TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE in sniping at Netanyahu and doing their own “campaign speeches” when they are not in the position of Netanyahu in governing Israel.

I don’t believe Obama could possibly think of anything that he could tell Netanyahu. Netanyahu is a leader among men and Obama is a community organizer that can not control his own petty emotions.

What peace process? Constant haranguing and asking Israel not to defend itself, give up territory, while not demanding rocket attacks from Gaza cease, does not sound like a process, let alone one resulting in peace

And what is Obama’s example of success in ANY “peace process”?

Even when he retreats and quits and overturns prior victories, he has not achieved “peace”.

There is no basis for him to assert that he has any clue as to how to achieve peace.

What can I say that hasn't already been said against the world-wide bigotry against Israel?

For those hard-working Americans who don't have the time to keep up:
The United Nations (UN) just released a report claiming the biggest abuser of women's rights in the entire world is Israel. They claim it's because Israel "occupying palistinian territory" (which they gained from an unjustified war to exterminate Israel) and thereby denying women opportunity.

I thought I had heard it all from the UN. That is just mind-splintering. Of all the Muslim countries that murder, rape, executed for being raped, physically abused, and treat women as chattel, they choose Israel??? Let's see what Obambi has to say about this. Surely, nothing because of his Indonesian Muslim teachings and his Chief of Staff, Valerie Jarrett (Muslim Iranian).

Although I don't suggest nor encourage it, I would have no problem with that building and all their racist totalitarian reps disappearing yesterday.

Fortunately Netanyahu, as do most world leaders, have little respect (or have outright distain — tempered, necessarily, by protocol) for obama and with each passing day, fewer and fewer leaders take seriously what obama says or thinks (most often, two different things).

Response by Netanyahu:

“I don’t want to talk to you no more, you empty-headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!”

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has REPEATEDLY sought to correct the mistaken impression that he does not support a TWO-STATE SOLUTION."

I agree with your assessment about Bibi. However, there is NO negotiating with the so-called Palis because they lie, much like the Iranian Mullahs are lying now. They had their chance back in the Camp David Accords days. But no, Arafat wouldn't accept 98% of his demands and called for another intifada.

Buses, cafes, weddings, market-places blew up almost daily killing many innocent Israelies who just wanted to live a western life. I read about it ad nauseum. Then Israel gave up the Gaza Strip so the palis could do their thing. What's the first thing the palis did? Got answer?

The palis still teach their children to HATE. It's the same as if you lived in a Crips/Blood territory. You want to negotiate with those tribal peoples? Good luck.

I support Israel and all she stands for. Period.

When you say that there is no negotiations with the Palestinian Authority ... you’ve got to realize that there has been TWENTY YEARS of negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, and the current set-up and status of the PA is the result of those 20 years and the subsequent agreements signed between then and now.

Keep in mind that if you go back 20 years ago, there was no Palestinian government or security forces and no transferring of tax money from Israel to them and none of what we see today. These negotiations have been going on ... all this time.

Even if it takes another TWENTY YEARS of negotiations ... It will continue progressing, just like it has in the last twenty.

BTW, can you or anyone please explain to me what the Jewish religion/people did to piss off the world through history and currently that so many want to exterminate them? I just don't get it.

I kinda get the psuedo-nazi skinhead white trash thinking the Aryan race is superior, which is BS. I just don't get the Muslims thinking that Jews and Christians are the enemy even when their made-up book accepts Abraham from the Bible.

Please give me historical facts where Jews/Isaelites oppressed or attacked others for no reason. I just want to understand.

From an Evangelical Christian standpoint (and a “Dispensational” Christian standpoint, of which there is a huge number in the USA) ... the Jews have been scattered and under judgement from God, until the end times and they are regathered back to their Homeland, Israel. That’s in progress right now.

When the Messiah of Israel returns to earth, then ALL ISRAEL (all the Jews) will be saved!

In the meantime, this persecution of the Jews, over the entire history of their existence, has a demonic source and is the result of Satan trying to eliminate the Jews in order to block God’s Word from coming true.

This UNBELIEVABLE PERSECUTION of the Jews originates from Satan’s demonic oppression ... and as you indicate, you (and others) don’t see any “legitimate” reason for it, in a logical and “real world” way!
