Well, we’ve got it anyway. Frank is on the mend, just needs a few days of regular eating. Pat’s symptoms are under control, and Kathleen’s are better. It’s hard to get medicine down her.
Nobody else is sick yet. Maybe the adults won’t get it.
Tom the mockingbird is making the squeaky-porch-swing sound. Jake isn’t outside right now.
He might be waiting for something interesting.
They like to have various sounds played to them.
DP was playing some beach music on the radio.
Frank threw up again. I’ll have to give him more of the prescription knockout medicine.
Ohboy.
Hope he starts feeling better soon.
He was feeling better. Then he drank some water. Bad idea. At least he’s had about 48 hours of keeping fluids and some food down.
Water!
Oh, my stars and gantries! What would Uncle Bill (William Chester Fields) have to say about that?
.
(That we could say on a public message board anyway.)
Welp...it’s done. The big Towdog is safely tucked away in its new home, where I’m sure the gas will be siphoned out (about 40 gallons) and then the thing will be brokered out to the highest bidder.
The little Towdog is only a few years newer (2008) but it only has 13,000 miles on it. It is also a diesel. It rides nice and the back seat looks as if it was never used. It has more buttons and things to play with, but I think Busdaddy is really going to like it, once he gets used to it.
Now I’m wondering what the neighbors will think! LOL!
So. No more stress (of that kind) for now. Tuesday I’m taking the BB SUV to Jerry, and that is good. Maybe tomorrow, Busdaddy will help me wash it, since he has a power washer and all the other stuff that’s needed.
Now, I wish I had a big ol’ greasy cheeseburger to celebrate!
I’m really sorry about all the sickies you have at your place, and I hope they get better soon!
Water, as I learned in many pregnancies, triggers vomiting.
Good news about the new truck!
Pat is safely home, had some supper, and no crises yet. Frank and Kathleen are still having symptoms. Sally arrived safely in Kentucky and is not, yet, sick. Since she doesn’t share a room with Frank or scavenge his drinks, maybe she (and her hostesses) will be safe.
Are you joking? If you mention Agincourt or Crecy to anyone but a college history major or a reenactor, they'll think it's a metal band.
Post-Tudor history does get a little garbled ... Jameses and Anne, Charles and Cromwell, then all the Georges ...
No, that's not something Uncle Bill would have said.
More likely something about fish.
The backyard is a bit muddy after those rains and storms last night. Knuckles is a bit of a mess.
I'm putting paths around the garden and along the orchard. 5 trees!
I'll grass to that dirt area when I can keep it watered.
Are those sunflowers, or beanstalks?
Those are sunflowers, they are volunteers from last year. They came up before I planted the rest of the garden so they are bigger.
I’ll have to reseed sunflowers. Volunteers here have frozen out.
Poor Knuckles!
Had hoped not to be...
I thought everyone know of Kenneth Branagh's great victory at Azincourt?
Well, that's where thought gets you. :)
Hope the Cold keeps clear of you, TC.
