Haha, I gotta bookmark this post for later when I step on toes on some religious threads. I can say: ‘look, at least I’m more “Catholic” than her!’
(Offer not valid in Vatican City, the District of Columbia, or American Samoa)
Do not assume I was saying anything against Catholics listening to the Holy Fathers, or Bishops.
I was only commenting on how many really do not “obey” nowadays.
Including, alas, some of the Bishops too.
Maybe when the San Francisco Bishop does something about Nancy Pelosi’s open promotion of abortion, on a national scale indeed...... then the Church will command more respect and there may be more “obedience” forthcoming amongst the flock
That’s all I meant.
Sorry if I caused any upset. I did not mean to.
Blesings,
And the serpent tempted them “Why, you are not being treated fairly!...”
The following is from their website: http://www.arcwp.org/about.html#apos
“We use equal rites to promote equal rights and justice for women in the church.”
“The unique focus of the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests is on justice and equality:
We seek equality for women in the church including decision-making and ordination.
We minister with the poor and marginalized.
We live the spiritual and social justice tradition of the church serving inclusive communities of equals.
We actively and openly participate in non-violent movements for peace and justice.”
Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests
Statement on Apostolic Succession
“The ordinations of Roman Catholic Women Priests are valid because of our apostolic succession within the Roman Catholic Church. The principal consecrating Roman Catholic male bishop who ordained our first women bishops is a bishop with apostolic succession within the Roman Catholic Church in communion with the pope. Therefore, our bishops validly ordain deacons, priests and bishops. Consequently, all qualified candidates, including baptized ministers and priests from other Christian traditions, who are presented to our bishops for ordination are ordained by the laying on of hands into apostolic succession in the Roman Catholic Church.”
You have such a way with words but you surely do make your point. What a picture you present. LOL
Not that any of those wimmin in the picture you posted are “priests”, but if they are going to play church, then you’d think the two wimmin doing the conferring of heretical orders would at least dress the part and wear suitably tacky vestments like they usually do. Durn, what a sentence. I’d hate to have to diagram it.
I am a Lutheran pastor, LCMS. I actually am ordained. I’ve used the term “impastor” to refer to the gals in the ELCA, the very liberal pseudo-Lutheran group.
Good Lord, from such as this, deliver us.
I’m curious to see what Marxist group is behind this bunch of misguided souls.
Three gay priests 'in Rome' were caught visiting gay nightspots and having casual sex in an undercover operation conducted via hidden cameras....By day they are regular priests, complete with dog collar, but at night it's off with the cassock as they take their place as perfectly integrated members of the Italian capital's gay scene.
The sexual perverts throughout the catholic church is endless still.
West Hampstead priest who defied church to marry gay partner in june 2014....
That is an Anglican, i.e. Protestant, minister:
Anglicanism is best understood as a reformed ‘catholic’ faith.
Well, “Pope” is “father” so unless she’s had the surgery, that’s out. She could declare herself the be the Vicar of Mary. That way the church would have both a father and a mother.
If they’re going to play dress up and pretend to be Catholic priests, the very least they could do is learn how to wear the vestments right.
Pretending that this ordination ceremony produced a Catholic priest is like pretending that a gay “wedding” ceremony produces a marriage. Make-believe is a fun game for preschoolers, but there comes a time when adults put away childish things.
You don’t even need surgery nowadays. All she has to do is say she “feels like a Pope trapped in a woman’s body”, and all the newspapers will call her by that title and use the male pronouns.
Bless you. Now go and sin no more.
How many faithful “Catholics” will attend Masses held by their new priestess?
