Please post (satire) in the headline.
The “Big Breakfast” when traveling is the only time I eat at McDonald’s. It’s not that good anyway. Waffle House doesn’t want me to excerise my Second Amendment rights and some of them have loud juke boxes anyway. The local Huddle House has a No Firearms sticker but I haven’t encountered them at other Huddle Houses on the road.
You've got to include it in the tirle.
Apologies for the confusion(See reply#38)
How long before they can get increased to $20 an hr?
Really, where was that request?
will do next time :-(

No, FR is not trying to quash satire. However, it should be clearly labeled as such in the title. Some people seem to think it's great trickling our readers into falling for satire. It's not. A lot of people come to FR and scan the headlines clicking on articles of interest. If they're not familiar with the author or source, they may be misled and may even pass it on to others. No thanks. If you post satire, please label it as "satire' in the title.
Thanks
Some of this thread illustates his point pretty well.
I should have read the story, maybe a “Big Breakfast” isn’t that bad after all. Every conceiveable outrage has become believeable.
Courtesy ping. Even if it's not your article, you are synonymous with satire. Not a bad thing. Keep up your good work.
Their “all beef pattie” just got a little more soy and a little thinner.
You can hit abuse on your thread and ask the mods to add ‘satire’ to the title.
They can do that for you. Take care.
(satire)
Very Convincing.
It is now certain that the company will embark on efforts to “enhance worker productivity”, which is how they will provide PR cover for finding any and every way to sell more while maintaining headcount. The profit per employee metric will become far more important in corporate decisionmaking.
But in reality this is always the way it has been: the substitution of capital for workers. That is the only way that workers can be paid more because they are worth more.
Leftists will hail this as a victory, but when combined with the ObamaCare mandates, this will only reduce the number of jobs at the very low and entry levels at fast food chains.
Another reason I hope there is an OFF button, LOL.
Love Satire.
Funny thing about this, if it were true, people who could afford an 8 dollar burger will go to a place where an 8 dollar burger actually tastes good.
Why go to McDonalds when I could go to Bigz or Willies or any number of great burger joints in my neighborhood and get a better burger?
Maybe they should go to $15? Maybe they should have half as many, more skilled employees? Of course, that means NO JOBS for unskilled people. Of course, that means MORE people on welfare.
Liberal kvetching about McDonald's passed the point of parody long ago. Lefties have never understood what McDonald's is selling.
Earlier post #48 and post# 49 covered how FreeRepublic owners wish for satire/comedy articles to be labeled. Thanks.
