I once met the Lone Ranger, Clayton Moore. He was in costume, but was wearing dark sunglasses, not his famous mask. The owners of the Lone Ranger franchise had sued Moore to prevent him from wearing the mask.

So, a truck driver was driving down the road, when up ahead he saw a priest walking down the shoulder.
He wheeled over and said, “Father, let me give you a lift.”
The offer was gratefully accepted, he climbed up into the cab, and they pulled back out onto the road. After a couple of miles they spotted Barack Obama walking down the shoulder. Now, the trucker immediately got nervous, because his normal policy was to run over politicians. But he just couldn’t do it with a priest aboard.
So, exercising every bit of self-control he could muster, he drove past Obama without swerving to hit him.
But to his great surprise, as he went past he heard a loud “thump-thump”!
Immediately, he turned to the priest and exclaimed, “Father, I swear, I didn’t hit him!”
To which the padre replied, “No need to worry, my son. I got him with the door!”

Not sure if it is the same auto detail firm, but back in the 80s, a New Zealander named his business such, applied to DMV for plates beginning KKK-001, 002.
When they became aware (or partly so), the local progressives had kittens "This must not be allowed"
The firm;s owner was amused and slightly exsasperated but their antics. - and yes, he was a Maori.
