Good morning, T-C. Hope everyone had a good and restful weekend.
It’s finally that time of the year when I can listen to Christmas Music at the shopping venues without grousing “It’s too SOON.”
Restful weekends are not a common thing here, but at least we succeeded at all endeavors.
Another day and night of fighting chest pains. I’ll be glad when this episode is finally over. But there is supposed to be more wind, then rain this week, so I can expect more of the pain.
Sparkle spent a good night, and didn’t play too much, but she is still in the closet.
Good morning and welcome to an exciting edition of: Waking up with the Plague! Starring, my sinuses.
I recall a pic once of Princess Diana and one of her sons down at the Thames, she was catching frogs with him.
I thought it a really cool pic.
Bet she would have caught frogs with her grandkids too.
So you carpe’d the diems, then?
Carped with real carp!
We have not been cat people, mostly because Mrs. ArGee is deatly allergic to them. So we were a little non-plussed when our daughter rescued a cat. She was taking care of it on her own but apparently didn’t learn much about them (although she certainly doted on it).
She thought it was normal for the cat to occasionally drag it’s bottom on the floor. When she found out it wasn’t she had to take the cat to it’s very first visit to the vet.
Now the cat is now hiding under the bed. I’m not sure which has been more traumatic, the indignity of having her openings probed or the vet teaching my daughter how to hold a cat that doesn’t want to be held. The cat had basically run things until this appointment.
I’ve never understood why people name things that won’t come when you call them, but she calls this cat Kiwi.
Ceirdwyn will come to me.
She will also run parkour style up my arm to my shoulder, but that’s a different matter.
Could be that Kiwi kitty is thoroughly traumatized by their vet adventure and needs time to process the alien probing they just had.
Also, a change in diet to prevent impacted glands.
Yup!
Pretty funny to watch a four pound ball of longhaired fluff floof around and up my arm like that.
Sorry to hear about your sinuses and chest pains, respectively. I’m glad Sparkle was active, at least.
We call the upper-respiratory plague “The Crud,” or in Spanish, “La Gripa.” Asuncion has La Gripa and Sally has The Crud.
There’s a cold going the rounds here that is annoying as heck.
Extra itching in the sinuses, and a tickle in the chest.
Eating or drinking anything triggers a massive lopsided response.
Which made my kitty hide, I sneezed and sniffled.
She thought I was hissing at something.
:(
It must be!
She sits on my shoulder and stares at stuff outside.
She likes watching the cars go by outside, and watches movies with the missus.
Yes, you read that right.
The cat sits and watches movies.
She sounds like wonderful company. :)
She just doesn’t like to be combed though!
LOL.
Last night she stole the comb, ran around with it while making odd noises, and then hid the comb as I was picking up the stuff she’d knocked down in her quest to get the comb.
The missus eventually did find the comb, but it took awhile.
The Package Bunneh will depart this morning and should reach you by Friday. With luck!
The USPS was a zoo, so I just used the robot in the lobby.
It’s overcast this morning and I feel a little sleepy, but I will fight it until the mail comes. After that, it’s anyone’s bet how the day will go.
The olive leaf extract that came on Friday is slow to work, so I may have to add one pill a dose until I get this cleared up. Also, I was able to find cranberry pills in 1400mg! They help, but don’t prevent or heal, so I really MUST take the olive leaf all the time.
LOL! I need to get a brush for Sparkle. I noticed last night that the hair on her ears is gold near the tips. She really is pretty!
Oh, that’s funny! She’s a smart girl! :)
