My mother just called - Dad was admitted to the hospital last night with an infection from the urinary catheter. My brother will be there by tonight.

In the absence of anything helpful to do, I’m taking the byos and Kathleen to the gym.

I had asked for a black kitten on a local website, and the price went fro $0 to $100, but I don’t know what it is, now. (Two weeks later.) I just know that she is still there...waiting for me?

I’ll have to wait till they are free again. But I’m slowly going to begin accumulating the stuff I need for her/him. And I already have a name for it.

31 degree wind chill factor this morning. I need to get some gloves, as my hands about froze, driving home, waiting for the heater to warm up the car.

Someone was in my spot again this morning, but they aren’t going to be staying long. I parked behind them to give them a hint, again. Man, I hate that.

The Valley is still suffering from nasty fatal accidents this month. Two more people died this morning, and one died yesterday. The oddest thing is that only about a third of them involved someone “driving while impaired.”

I’m looking forward to the new Hobbit movie. It will be fun to spend a weekend watching that and LOTR! I’ll make popcorn or buy pretzels and Pink Drink and have fun! All BY meself!

I unwound 30 feet or so of Ace bandage, removed two thick cotton pads, and the two tiny band-aids fell off by themselves.

Next a shower and new band-aids and off to work.
