My brother in Scranton, PA, sent us a note saying the expect some snow before morning. He and his wife are coming here next week: he bought the tickets thinking next week was Thanksgiving.
Oh, well, the fares were lower, and it won’t be nearly as busy at the airport.

(I know the fellow who took this shot at daybreak about a week ago, of one of my favorite landmarks, this 120 year old light at Heceta Head. The verse came to me in a flash. And I never write verse.)

That is a great section of earth, I left there 35 years ago because I had to work for a living or something.
But I only have to do that for about another ten years and then I'll be going back (If I can't get there sooner somehow).
