just so they could dress her up as a bat. I thought baseball was losing popularity.
I think I may be missing something.

"I was born there, (in Baltimore). That was, of course, wrong." I wasn't born in Baltimore. I was born here, which is south of Baltimore.
It probably wasn't so bad when you were born there. Ladies probably still went up to the big department stores to shop. The streetcars still ran, and they still had cobblestone streets.
The Bromo Selzer Tower most likely displayed the approximately correct time of day, and Republicans were still allowed to show their faces in public.
Things have changed since then.

Dang. I feel caught up in a time warp of Western Songs and Nostalgia Neon.
I think I need to eat something substantial... Wish I had a big thick steak, carnivore that I am....
But will that bring back the present???

I loved my son as a two-year-old! When other moms were going through the Terrible Twos, my son was showing me what a fun and creative kid he really was! I had so much fun with him when he was a pre-schooler, that I really, REALLY missed him when I had to send him to school!
It was long ago, and now seems far away, but the day he was born, I wanted eleven more...

My sis found it.
She sent me the link and said pretty much “here”.

You're a click or two away, if you have your prescription.
On another note, I received a promotional copy of Seventeen magazine in the mail today. Addressed to me. At my home address.
Methinks San used my credit card to order some Interwebz clothing. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I’d have to go for merely cosmetic looks.

Relax, Scouty. I think I got one of the inaugural subscriptions to Seventeen Magazine when I was 16, (thanks to my mom.) As it happened a schoolmate was hired as a model for the mag but never told a soul. I went to school with her but only knew her as pretty, polite and religious.
I’ve always liked that mag, but I’m sure that it has changed exponentially!
