Well, Wright King is still alive, so maybe there’s hope that “Johnny Jupiter” will be revived.
It got the moniker of "Saturday Night Live" because TV Guide listed the show as "Saturday Night" followed by the small print "-live".
Even though Don Pardo would say "Live from New York, it's Saturday Night!" the listing in TV Guide said "Saturday Night-Live".

David Cassidy - Man Undercover.
Firefly was wonderful. And now Nathan Filion is on his sixth? seventh? year as Castle. Good but not great show, still he’s fun to watch.
Heroes writers wrote themselves into a corner there was no place left to go with the show. Pity. The Cheerleader (Haden Panettiere) is now staring on “Nashville” as a country singer and does a wonderful job.
I’ll show my age now; I don’t recall ever seeing a single episode of any of those ten. Sorry!
The Howard Beale Show
From my cold dead hands !
Didn’t that “One Step Beyond” episode actually take place in WW1, instead of the Civil War? I know I’ve seen it. It would probably be easy to locate and watch, since most of the episodes seem to be in the public domain.
I saw Deadwood on DVD’s fascinating but impossible to love with all that “bleep you” stuff. And worse, all the horrible treatment of women.
I spent a lot of time turning away from the screen.
“Check It Out.” I actually liked that sitcom, they ran it on the USA Network.
WWI prolly correct. We are talking memory hole 50 years ago or more!
It had a black starring cast. It had whites in a supportive role. Great TV series, from the same producers of “The Honeymooners. Black and White Americans loved the show. Ask anyone that watched it in the 50s. Classic.
...does anyone remember Third Rock From The Sun?
Yes, entertaining cast and fun gags. Three’s Company was one of my all-time favorites, but wouldn’t have continued after John Ritter’s young demise.
Good Lord, how old is the listmaker here? 21?
The show that nearly bankrupted NBC
Other enjoyable shows: A-Team and Magnum PI.
Awful, stupid show. I couldn't believe people acted that stupid in real life and made the folks from Nantucket look like retards. Then I visited Nantucket...
Sounds like Amos 'n Andy. They were fun in glorious black & white when I was a kid. And Jack Benny, Red Skelton, Milton Berle, George and Gracie...
