May it grow and never melt. For his sake, may no polar bear visit him.

This is absurd, because bergs tend to overturn very easily as they melt and their shape changes.
If he is on the wrong place at that moment, he will either be thrown off, or pinned beneath it.

floating adrift until he is rescued. If any part of your plan involves getting rescued, it's a stupid plan.

How can people afford to do things like this? Does he get sponsors? Does he work?
To: Brad from Tennessee
If he doesn’t win a Darwin Award, he at least should cop honorable mention.

He’d be lucky to find crickets up that direction.

He'd better be careful the ship taking him there doesn't get stuck in the ice, like that one did last year in Antarctica. They almost never got it out, in all that
summer ice.
In directly related news, the volcanoes in Iceland are about to start acting up. Probably the ones under the Arctic ice cap, too. Might be some melting, but not from gloBULL warming.

Btw, I have no idea what that means.

I think all global warming (the only "climate change" they acknowledge) alarmists should consider doing this. It's a lose-lose proposition for them (that is, if the iceberg doesn't melt they fail to make their point; if the iceberg melts and they're cast into the freezing ocean they demonstrate their point, but they still lose ... something).
Doesn't sound like a well-thought out tactic to me; but then again, the late Mitch Hedberg once said, "I'm against protesting, but I don't know how to show it!"

“This bold one-man campaign comes at a time when a chorus of scientists, organizations and policymakers continue to warn about the accelerating loss of Arctic ice.”
The Grand lie. Total sea ice is near setting a record.

Some one ought to give him Joe Bastardi’s Weatherbell.com address so he can listen to what Joe has to say and for him to read Dr. Fred Singer’s columns
