WAS HE EVEN AT THE SCENE? I’m hoping more information will be forthcoming and the fog surrounding this will clear.
Depends on how much you believe the “best friend’s” version.
I don’t believe that the conversation between the cop and the young men went as politely as described in the video.
What is not being mentioned on all these threads about the incident is that (per this friend) they said “NO” to the cop’s order to get out of the middle of the street and onto the sidewalk.
I’m guessing they used several multi-syllable profanities in expressing their manhood by standing ‘up to the man’.

In Baltimore, it has been common that if a metro bus with 5 passengers is involved in a minor accident there will be quickly 20 folks entering the bus and complaining about the neck and back pain they feel. This may have lessened in recent years because the buses (I believe) now have cameras that can disprove false allegations by these magical passengers.
Just as there can be “magical” passengers that appear at an accident scene, so there can be “magical” witnesses to a crime absent video evidence to the contrary.
I’m bothered by the fact that at this late date we still don’t have a credible narrative from the police yet.
Big deal, in LA, a city bus gets in a minor collision everyone in the intersection falls down..All claim they were ran over or on board the bus...Those close to the scene allege they were hit with impact debris and can no longer pee or function. On and on and on....
Not to mention the psychological damage suffered by ANYONE in the vicinity that causes PTSD preventing the person from working for the remainder of their life and qualifying the person for lifetime disability payments.
People 20 floors up above the collision become victims as they inhale particulates such as coolant dispersed by impact.

Hard to decide who is telling the truth in this case. Cops and urban youths have become equally suspicious groups.
These media outlets are all owned by billionaire oligarch megalomaniacs. They want to own us, own our minds and spirits. They don’t like us to thi I freely. They don’t like God, but they’re afraid of the alla worshipers. It is a cheap and simple thi g for them to buy the universities, the Mefia, and the Republican leadership.

Appears he had been arrested for burglary and assault previously. So yes, chances are they knew him.
Most of us didn't ask them to:
