I've been going through papers. What fun. I save all receipts for a year, then toss them. Just a habit from when I was working. Unless the receipts are for mechanical or electronical stuff!

I forgot to tell you that the medical center called me to schedule an MRI on my neck. They are going to have to put me out like a light, but they will charge me $50 for the privilege. That really stinks. Thanks to Obama, most of the tests now cost us something we can't afford. I will be glad to have it done, though, as I really want that epidural. My neck pops when I least expect it. And I'm tired of having my arms tingle. This monsoon season, it has really been bad.

The lovely Bill is planning to leave for an overnight social event, but he can’t find the shoes he wants to wear. I can always find my shoes, because I put them in my closet when they’re not on my feet ... but what do I know, except where my shoes are.

They know what’s wrong, but they just don’t know how to approach doing the epidural. They need to know where exactly to place the needle(s).

Poor Shoeless Bill. Perhaps if he tied them to his ankles when he isn’t wearing them he could find them. What a calamity.

I need to forage. I’m very hungry today, for some reason. A friend brought me some fresh peaches, but I only eat one or two in as many days, so I have to give the rest away.

Maybe I’ll just go break up that head of lettuce and make a salad... And find a piece of turkey roast.
