Interesting he didn't throw any no hitters when he was a dominant pitcher, and now he has two when he;s a mediocre pitcher. The way sports writers talk about him you'd think he's terrible.

i was at the gym in Fayetteville, NC this afternoon while this was happening... i was watching The World Cup, and they kept breaking away to the Giants game... it took me a while to figure out what was going on... being that this is NC, i was surprised they kept showing Tim... :)

go GIANTS!

I watched game 5 of the 1984 world series the other night. (speaking of the Padres)

Nolan Ryan holds the all-time record with seven.

Still an incredible feat.

Tiger Stadium was a great park for watching a game.

Great job, Timmy. But a team shouldn't have to also depend on their starters to provide their own run support, too.

SF needs a new batting instructor.

Lincecum is a great pitcher. I wish he would through a no hitter against a better team than the Padres.

This is what I love about being self-employed. CSN Bay Area on was today in the office and nothing happened in the last three innings.

Timmy was awesome today. Two hits, loose and smiling. And a gladiator helmet in the clubhouse when it was all done.

Oh yeah.

Lucky fans today. You never know when a no-hitter’s going to happen. I was fortunate to see Nolan Ryan’s 7th (?) no-hitter against the A’s. Special game.

Johnny Vander Meer had back to back no-hitters in 1938.

Lost in the no big news was Buster Posey’s 4-4 day.

Young Mr. Panik is made of strong stuff. He started the 4-3 putout for the last out today... after making his first MLB error last night.

Those crummy Padres kicked our butts the last two nights! They always play tough against the Giants.

I don’t miss the ‘obstructed view’ seats, though.

Been waiting awhile for Panik to get moved up. Although Hicks was decent defensively we definitely need Panik’s bat.

hated when the closed Tiger Stadium...they should have did what the Yankees did, build an exact replica. Comerica Park is awful..plus the players hate it.

Hitter’s feats tend to get overlooked in no-hitters.
