It most certainly IS! I just came back from a lovely 2 hour ride where I inspected the new tent set up for church tomorrow morning (Hallelujah!) and then had lunch at Chick-Fil-A...their magnificent Asian Salad..Yum Yum!

Happy Dogurday/Caturday, FRiends.
We will be spending part of the day at the Caruthers District Fair.
Never heard of it? ... probably noone outside the area has.
It is a four day real country fair ... food booths, nightly rodeos, fair queen, arts, crafts and 4H animals.
We missed the parade this morning but Marissa is climbing the walls asking when we are leaving.
She is anxious to meet her friends for lots of local fun.

Oooohhhh....so glad you got to get out and enjoy such a nice, long ride. And, you got to have MY fave salad (too ;), at CFA. Yummmm!! The dressing for that salad is so good, too.

Sounds like a fun day. Our county fair is going on, now, as well. I love this time of year....Fair season! The smell of funnel cakes wafting in the air ;-)

The tent is HUGE. I am so happy about it! For the last few months I have been trying to fit a drum set, two guitar players and a harmonica player (and a PA system) under a little beach shelter. During rainy season. OR under a tropical sun.
We meet behind a Biker bar on a wooden deck, and the owner of the bar had the tent custom made. He is a rough, tough, Jewish Biker, and never misses a service! :-)
And, yes, that sesame CFA dressing is to die for.

The Fair sounds terrific.
I used to perform at one of those, and opened for some pretty famous people. (Crystal Gayle, Charlie Daniels, Amy Fricke).
CD was very mean to me, but i have forgiven him because he supports the Troops!

Sorry to hear that about CD. He seems to have mellowed over the years. And, like you said....he’s a great supporter of our troops. (I don’t think he cares much for the current prez, either ;)

My incident with him was many years ago. he really hurt me at the time and cost me a gig as well.
However, people DO have repentance and change in their lives, and our job is to forgive them just as God does.
