Huh? Have you even used it? It can be setup to be exactly like windows 7 if that’s your thing.
I think it’s too big. Ten inches is a perfect size for a tablet. The screen size shouldn’t be really larger than a piece of paper.
All they’ve done is create a laptop with a detachable keyboard. It would surprise me if this sold well.
Meh. I still fail to see the allure behind a tablet at all. Yea, they’re nice in some instances, but in those times, my phone (with it’s 4” screen) works just fine. And when I actually want to do something, a full scale laptop, with a proper GPU is much more useful.
I still don’t see much use for these things than as toys.
A tablet will never replace my laptop, period.
how much RAM does it have, graphics accelerator? Where does the mouse plug in?
$799??
That is insane
The nicest of our local malls has an Apple store and Microsoft store.
I only visit there about 2x per year, but it always seems the Apple store is full of customers and the Microsoft store looks like it’s been hit by a neutron bomb.
You can see the specs here: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Surface-Pro-3-i3-64/productID.300190600?WT.mc_id=SurfaceBG=Surface-Pro-3-i3-64
But either 4GB or 8GB RAM.
you can compare it to MacBook air here (not exactly unbiased but good enough).: http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/surface-pro-3-vs-13-inch-macbook-pro-retina-specs-features-prices-compared/#!PIkC6
It looks like it has one generation older GPU vs the MacBook Air. Will that matter? Depends on what you want to do with it.
Mouse can plug into the USB slot.
I already own the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2” tablet, and it is doing a fine job of replacing my notebook - without Windows. :)
There’s a MS store at the fashion mall? Really? I never knew.
So the makers of crappy software are now making crappy hardware. MS trying to be Apple, but doing it wrong.
