Welcome aboard, boot.
Keep your eyes open and your mouth shut for awhile and everything will be fine.
;)

Congratulations and bless your heart, honey. It’s been a long time, hasn’t it. Keep up the good work. Wine is still $2.97 a bottle at Walmart.

“i coulda learned golf in the time i spent on freeps.”
But then you’d have to run for President or, at least, become a community organizer.

Congrats.
I hadn’t thought how long I’ve been posting here. Kinda like thinking how many years (decades) it has been since graduating high school (yikes). February 2000 was my start date.

1998, now that is impressive. I bet you remember the days when someone would forget to switch of the Bold and someone else would have to do it for them to keep the entire rest of the thread from being bold.
I bet you also remember it used to be standard to procedure to quote with italics and then post your reply in regular font.
You probably also remember seeing the annual updates of the html sandbox (where has that gone?)

I’m coming up on 16 years myself, since August 1998. Only about 800 posts for me. I check Free Republic every day though.

You’re not a FReeper until Laz proposes to you. An uncomfortable honor at best.
