I’ve had such experiences with Verizon landline DSL, but only at widely spaced irregular intervals, soy perhaps once or twice a month—except about 6 or 7 months ago, when it seemed all the time. After applying some “what is it, and what is not it” sorting, I felt it was because of some kind of failure of the Verizon-supplied DSL modem. I got Verizon to send out a technician, and he agreed. I got him to exchange my DSL modem and Linksys wireless router with a new combo DSL/wireless device, and now I have pretty regular good service.
