No, it is NOT for explosive or sudden decompression. The masks deploy at a cabin altitude of 14,000 feet. Period. Please explain how to override the automatic deployment of the passengers oxygen system.

Okay there wasn’t an override. The Iranians or the pilots caused a sudden decompression and everyone died of hypoxia shortly thereafter. That isn’t very difficult to do.

Why didn’t the pilots or the hijackers don oxygen masks? The oxygen system in the cockpit is totally separate from the one used by the passengers.

The pilots have their own O2 for sure. I’m sure the Iranians had their own.

Ground crew disables them? tampers with them, cuts the air hose, makes them unable to drop by applying super glue to the overhead panels?
Inject each one with a few cc’s of sarin?

But they would have to have a plan. So, what was the purpose? To crash the plane and kill everyone on board? To land the plane some place else? The pilots didn’t need any help to do either one of those.

Purpose? Steal the airplane and land it in a secure location where it can be loaded with a nuke. Then fly to the US to be detonated over NYC to financially decapitate us or flown over DC to politically decapitate us.

Seems like you realize how ridiculous your scenario sounds. The 2 Iranians weren’t involved.
Now, if you want to conjecture that there were Uyghurs involved, that’s another story. Or that 1 or both members of the cabin crew had planned something of their own, that’s a real possibility.
