For crying out loud folks.
The zoo had an extra giraffe.
Lions eat giraffes.
They slaughtered the giraffe and fed it to the lions.
Just as zoos do every day with other animals.
Just as slaughterhouses do every day.
Just as the butcher shop at your grocery store does every day.
And you and your children can watch through the window.
Just as farmers do every day.
With help from their children.
This has been done for generations.
And it is healthy.
Sheeesh.
Yeah, they could have neutered the giraffe.
Yeah, they could have sold the giraffe.
But there are a billion other pigs, cows, sheep, goats, and giraffes lined up to be slaughtered and eaten today, and tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that, from now until the end of flippin’ time. Are these animals somehow morally inferior to the giraffe, which is eaten daily by lions in the wild? And should we ransom them all?
Denmark AND the Netherlands have nothing I want or need. They are full of G-dless socialists who have made socialism their new religion, free of compassion. They kill this innocent animal who was used to being adored and cossetted, then lamely attempt to justify it with an absolutely ridiculous excuse. Then they further attempt to justify it by making it a "learning experience". What are the kids learning? If you are surplus, you die? Nothing but pseudoscience crap to try and give a respectable veneer to what is in reality despicable and needless cruelty.
This was unnecessary. Another zoo offered to take him. If they were worried about inbreeding, they could have neutered Marius. Just wasteful. Everything, everybody is throw away in this degraded society. Sick.
